I was polishing an antique mirror with a buffer and was caught and pulled into the wheel. Stopped a 3/4 HP Baldor motor. Needless to say I still have the finger joint In a Jar. Lesson Learned.

Took my pair back today and got a gift card but no 20% off but with being all over the place with coupons will use general ones. Thanks for the heads up and will review recall notices often on their page to assure I do not have any items.

Re: MAGNETO TROUBLESHOOTING
I thought I had a mag problem and thought it ran fine on battery. While troubleshooting I noted #4 coil was firing so I turned the crank to move on to another coil. To my surprise moving the crank did not silence the coil and found #4 connection on the timer was grounded all the time. Changed timer ...

Re: possible magnito problem
Today decided to test the timer and wire from coils to timer. I wanted to make sure there were no coils activated so hooked up battery and activated. Noted # 4 coil was firing. Turned crank to find an off spot and found there was not one. Took off timer and found #4 coil was activated continuously. ...

Made the test rig with the 1156 bulb and analog meter. disconnected the connection from the plug and fired the truck up on battery. The bulb got so bright it was hard to read the meter. Looks like my problem lies in the wiring or switch going to the coils. Eck
