Before you go changing anything, find out just where the interference is occurring. Look for rub marks on the hub or axle seal or ??? and address the issue from there. Your period aftermarket radiator appears to be the style that does not necessarily flow well. Especially with age. Their indirect flow pattern makes them easy to clog and hard to flush. You may need the pump for that reason alone. As Susanne states, you won't really know till you try it.

Re: OT - Adventures of Kalamity Dick - Fact or Fiction?
Rich, I beg to disagree. I believe the catch was a rare "felineous odiferous post-mortimous". The very breed that gave Stinkwater its name. Hopefully, it was a catch & release situation, since they were out-of-season during the Regatta, as I understand it. It's likely that the creel contained a bouq...

Re: Looking for Tut.
I kept picturing a spot light. Looks like a bracket there. But who knows. The car appears to have black fenders and maybe a green body. But the light could be playing tricks. Bryant It's the image of the fender being reflected back onto the splash apron. I guess Dan said the same thing above... Wel...

Re: Pre-War swap meet in Oklahoma???
As to sleeping on the ground, a Missouri State Trooper once told me, "Watch out for chiggers!" I had never heard of a chigger before. So, after that warning, there was no way I could go to sleep!

Once you get it all rebuilt, throw away the anti-shimmy spring that's currently on that tie rod end.

Re: Need your input: What would you reasonably want in a Pre-War swap meet in Oklahoma
So just spitballing here, I’m facing reality that a swap meet around springtime just dedicated to pre-war may not be viable long term but if there were a swap meet where there was a dedicated area & building for pre-war stuff including open air, covered open air & a climate controlled building for ...

Did you reset your float level after replacing the needle & seat? Just going by what I'm seeing in your pic, it appears that the little tab that pushes on the needle is bent down kind of far. If that's true, it would cause your flooding problem. Roughly speaking, the needle should seat when the top ...

I have never understood why, when things clearly have gotten smaller, they don't move the outside vendors into the buildings and condense things.

From the Merriam Webster website...
"Rally: noun: a mass meeting intended to arouse group enthusiasm"
Yup, there's the other kind of Rally too.

Is a car put together like this in the Model T Ford Club of America welcome at our events and/or is it even "worthy of being called a 1911 Model T Ford?" It's completely welcome! The majority of T's today are "put togther" cars. Don't let a bunch of snobs ruin your fun. I can't believe some people ...

Sometimes the old Ford has to go to the elephant grave yard. ”Bad Penny”was an early eBay purchase unseen except photo, was stated as rust free….not :( Did get the engine out and was put to use, but the rest of the rusted out , with window screen backed Bondo patches in all the sheet metal , sad ‘2...

For his "modern car", my dad was a Dodge guy, until the parking lot guard at Ford Tractor, Highland Park, started to make him park at the very back of the lot. Big lot... long walk. He then bought a new 1969 Ford LTD. Nothing wrong with owning an antique Dodge, as long as there are clubs & tours ava...

I believe West Systems makes a similar product.
However, as others suggest, it's generally not a good idea. Please post pictures of your problem. For any of us to encourage you to do such a repair would be irresponsible and possibly unsafe to you without any knowledge of the current wheel condition.

Your words in the video pretty much say it all, "... without any weight on the suspension..." If the spring weren't arched so high, your wishbone ball would drop into place. Let the car's weight rest on the suspension. There's no need to use clamps, cables, jacks, or pulleys. I'll say it again... J...
