Are there any differences in the coupler to connect a TT rear end to the driveshaft? We had a coupler in a working snowmobile with a ruxstell and Watford come apart .we had a spare stock rear end so we took the coupler off of it but it won't fit? Have done many sets on cars didn't find it difficult at all ,used kevlar only thing I would suggest would be to get the strap tool that the venders sell makes it a lot easier to pull band around drum .good luck

Thanks Donnie for all the info,my wheels have bearings so I guess 30-31 style.i have 1 good pinion gear minus the bolts and rollers.the other is very egged out,I am trying to find a shop that can weld up holes and redrill using good one as a guide.i do need to find what to use for bolts and rollers ...

I think your correct Jeff there is no reason for spring to be there ,just because it appears to be old doesn't mean it was installed correctly.hopfully someone has one they can take pictures of for me .thanks for the responses everyone

Thanks for responding Glenn, my local machine shop tells me they can fabricate a bracket so I am going to see what they come up with. My wheels have bearings and it does look like the collars inwards of the bearings have lock bolts and will adjust in or out.

The valve stems measure .344 ,my concern is how much clearance is needed for correct operation which would give me the correct size ream to buy,thanks again

A question for the machinist in the group

I need some advice , I am installing new valves in a 1920 Fordson tractor. The valves have larger diameter stems and are all that is currently available which is ok my guides are a little worn anyways. the new valves measure 11/32 .344 in diameter and I am not sure what size ream to buy , I dont wan...
