Thanks Tim, Dan : I talked to Glen and he has the gears and the hubs. I'll try to get a picture of my gear and post it. I am getting things cleaned up so I can have measurements, etc. and a list ready for Glen next time I talk to him.

Thanks Dan, will do as I may need to have a shaft as it appears the gear and shaft are integral, I haven't had a chance to call Glen yet, been mowing all day and most likely tomorrow. To all who responded, many thanks for the help, this car is getting close, but these early ones are a challenge and ...

Any Hints on preserving/strengthening a Fiber Gear
I am just now getting to the water pump on my 08 model SR. The water pumps were built into the radiator similar to the first 2500 T's, but ran off a gear mounted on the flywheel which is on the front of the engine. Mesh was adjusted through rubber pads/shims on the radiator mounting. I found that th...

I've posted this on the early ford site without luck, so thought I'd try here also. I need a few parts to complete my 08 SR.
Hood former, gas cap, radiator cap, timer cover and front spring shackles. I will be stopping by Tulare so could pickup there.

Ustus Limousette side curtains
I recently got a set of Ustus Limousette side curtains. These have vertical pieces with a track that mount to the top bows on open cars and have a cross piece with the curtain that rolls up like a spring loaded window shade. The very fragile instructions that came with the set were for a touring, ho...

Re: Seat Belts, What of it?
For me, I have lap belts installed in my model A coupe and my MGTD that are tied to the frame, for safety, law and insurance requirements. The model A could maybe stand up under a roll over, the MG would be questionable. For the T's no belts, but I don't drive them at above 35 either. I realize it i...

Re: How to Paint a T?
Having painted a few of various years, I would strongly suggest using a self etching primer on any bare metal. Then put on the primer of your choice. The bottom layer of self etching ensures a good bond with the old metal you will be covering, and often some of the stripped metal sets a while as you...

I use a Model T ranch equalizer set up with rods for the original AC's on my 22 coupe. The rods have a set of anti rattle support brackets on them. Re: Rocky mountain brakes, has anyone used cable instead of rods?
I tried this on my 22 coupe with original AC's and hassle shocks, found it easier to use rods and guides, the routing of cables was somewhat difficult, you could just bend the rods. Also the rods allowed me to put a little pressure away from the wheel on the brake shoes, giving me some much needed s...

Did a 22 Center Door 15 years ago, with much re-wooding required. Sold It to Ron Kipling(RIP), wish I had it back as it was a very sweet running and very original car. Re: 1919 Model T in restoration...
One piece of advise on closed car restoration. Do not do too much body work without the body mounted to the frame. These wood framed bodies have some variance to them and if you don't have them on the squared up chassis when you fit and finish the doors, windshield, wood firewall, etc. you could end...
