T bucket radiator for '25 restoration
Has anyone used the aluminum "T-bucket" hotrod radiators on a period style T? I'm looking at getting a new radiator for my '25, and 200 bucks is a heck of a lot more palatable than 800... TT rear wheel woes
Howdy all, recently got my project TT ('25 closed cab) running/driving, but unfortunately got a flat on the rear left wheel after about 50 feet of travel. The split rim (23" Kelsey No. 118 or 119) is pretty bent up, wobbles slightly as it rolls, and didn't want to go onto the wheel in the first plac...

Re: Steaming Radiator
Thanks everyone for the great advice! A few things: - I'll check the fluid level next time I have a chance; I seem to recall only a gallon of fluid being in there, but I'm not sure why I would've only put one in when the owners manual clearly says 3... Perhaps my memory is not what it once was! - I'...

Steaming Radiator
Hello all! Looking for some quick advice from someone who knows better than I... I just got my '25 TT running properly/driving for the first time, only to encounter a laundry list of issues to address. Chief among those, the steam you can see in this ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24nG3av6TT4 ) v...

Running a Warford on a TT - Order of components?
Howdy all, So, in putting my '25 TT back together, I have encountered a question for those that know better than I. I have an old style Warford with the extra short torque tube, to allow for a tiny little torque tube/U joint to run between the transmission and the Warford itself. As far as I know, t...

Wiring a 1925 TT without an ignition switch
Howdy all, So, I've been approaching the point of test running my TT rebuild, but haven't yet had a chance to rebuild my ignition switch unit... Does anyone know of a way to wire things up to test run with a bypass instead of the insulated switch unit? I can figure a reasonable way to do things myse...

George,
Yes I'm in Golden CO. You wouldn't happen to know of a tool nearby, would you?

A dumb question about TT tires
Howdy all, So I've gone and bought a pair of 5.00x23 tires for the rear axle of my 1925 TT project, which *I think* are correct for the 23" split rims I have. For the front axle, I used the turnbuckle trick in the mounting bosses to "pull in" on the rim, but the rear rims have no bosses through whic...

That is a massive help Allan! Glad I asked... I'll see if I've got an extra band in a box somewhere. Thanks all!

Re: Installing tranny bands/hogs head. Bands won't sit back far enough?
George, Thanks for the help! It's a 3 dip pan, and all my removable ears are on the left side. I'm not sure about the brake bands; while my brake band is larger than the other 2, it seems to be the correct size of the corresponding drum. How close are the clearances back there typically? Am I making...

Installing tranny bands/hogs head. Bands won't sit back far enough?
So I've taken the plunge into the world of Model Ts, having bought a 25 TT about a month ago. It came at a great price, but as one might expect, also came in many, *many* boxes. That said, the assembly hasn't been too troublesome so far- I've got the crank/cams and all their accompanying gubbins in,...
