Wire wheels lug nuts torque #

I’m a 2 year owner of a 26T coupe with wire wheels. While waking her up for Spring I checked all of the wheel lugs and found several loose. I’m not sure how tight they should be. Is there a suggested torque # that is safe to use?

Re: Battery 12v shut-off switch

Again, thanks for all the great support and ideas. Now all I have to do is get it installed as I bought the heavy duty switch from Lange’s last year. 🤓

Battery 12v shut-off switch

I have a 1926 Ford Model T Coupe and have purchased a metal shut-off switch to disconnect all voltage when not in use. I’m not sure where to install it. Was thinking below driver’s side of the seat near and above the starter foot button. Any suggestions as to where, how, and which wires. Many thanks...

Temperature gage

I have a ‘26 Ford Model T coupe and am interested in installing a temp gage inside the car with the sending unit inserted in the return radiator hose. Has anyone done this and what was the resulting benefit?

Throttle lever slipping

On my 1926 Ford Model T coupe the throttle lever slips down making an unwanted acceleration especially if I have hit a bump. The notches where the lever is supposed to click in are almost worn smooth. How do I fix it?

Re: Modern distributor or T timer

Thanks to all of you for the information. I really have a lot of homework to do. I am getting antsy for late July to roll around as the “T” will be coming out of storage in the Upper Peninsula of MI and brought to the central lower part of MI. I’m having difficulty finding a local MTFCA chapter, but...

Modern distributor or T timer

I’m new to T’s. Have seen pictures of modern distributors being used on model T engines instead of the original timers. What’s the purpose of purpose doing so and is the magneto sill available to use. I know these are really dumb questions but I will be taking delivery of a 26 coupe this summer that...
