33 days before Marietta

Just a mere 33 days before the Marietta, Ohio swap. Kevin will be there with heads, Brent with coils, BJ with engines and an assortment of old guys with a bunch of Model T and A parts. Heated building, great lunch, runs from 7am to 2pm, come and buy or just hang out with the gang. There's no better ...

Do to the overwhelming response to this posting, the owner has requested no more inquiry’s until he sorts through the ones he has. Thanks everyone for your response to this post. I’m sure the roadster and touring car will be gone soon. We may post the huckster again later.

3 T's for sale

During a recent outing, we came across a T touring sitting in a barn yard. The older owner has been ill for about three years. A club member bought the barn yard car. The family is selling the remainder of the collection. There are 3 cars left, commercial hack, 26 touring and a 21 roadster pick up w...

Head Gaskets Copper

Just got a call from Smith and Jones about T copper head gaskets. They have them in limited stock now. $42 each. Maybe the other dealers have them too and this is old news! I was told the quality is very good. Got 6 coming my way.

My thoughts exactly. But someone sure went to a lot of work for a nice looking installation. The new owner will remove it all once he gets it home !

Interesting lines in radiator to block pipe

IMG_20230117_091440482.jpg
A recent purchase of a Tudor had these two 3/4" pipes going to a small about 1 1/2 gallon steel tank under the floorboard under the driver seat. No water pump. Anyone ever seen this before and why? Heater, extra capacity for cooling, etc

OT trailer winch

I’m looking for a new trailer winch to pull the T onto the trailer. I have had witches with wire cable before. All did well. I was just wondering about witches with rope. The winch will be stored in the dry. Any suggestions of which is recommended is appreciated.

Out of the mouths of babes

Several of us retrieved a very neglected 26 touring car today for one of our younger members at a very attractive purchase price. The young purchaser took it home. Evidently the wife was not impressed and told the young buyer they were not going to keep the car. The son of the buyer, maybe less than...

I know several attendees of the jamborees post on this forum or at least read it. I'm trying to locate a year and location list for every year the Jamboree has been happening. Limited steering in both directions

I have a 24 Touring car we have had for 15 years. It has always had a steering issue so I have decided to figure out what's causing the issue and a possible remedy. The car drives well, runs straight, no tire wear, but takes a lot of area to turn it around either left or right. It has a 4:1 steering...

Re: High Compression Heads and Bore Size

The last Z head I used required some relief grinding on the interior edged on all 4 chambers to prevent piston interference on a .030 oversized bore. I tried a Prus head on another engine bored .030 over with no modification needed. Prus advertises .080 with no interference and that seems to be corr...

Re: I've gone to the dark side...

We bought our first a about 3 years ago. Totally different driving experience and the “family” atmosphere does not seem to be the same as out “T” family for sure. T people drive and enjoy their cars a lot. A lot of “A” people we are meeting rarely drive their cars, which is a shame. T’s are the best...

What the heck

We just completed a five day run in TN with about thirty cars. Had a great time. One of the car owners, in his 80’s, needed some help with a repair. Several of us jumped in and low and behold, I was the guy on my back under the car looking up. Under the driver side splash apron was a clear plastic t...

There are new not as bright wedge type bulbs out now that have good led power but not the intense bright white. While they are better, they all our in the mid $20 range each. Until such time as these bright ones I have now crap out, the dimmer ones are not not on my radar.

Re: New LED bulbs for Miss Molly, my 23 Coupe

The flat style bulbs pictured above work well if the bulb is oriented horizontally. The original socket pin location orients the bulb in a vertical configuration. Modify the socket and the bulbs now cast a beam out in front of the car. Thanks to Bill Robinson, I changed the pin position and those bu...
