I’m working through a front end issue and don’t want to out new tires in the process so hoping I could find a decent Universal T driver 3 1/2 x 30.

I don’t demagnetize them before charging. I rely on its original polarity to align to charger. I do not know of any reason you would want or need to demagnetize them first.
Just measure the strength before and after so you know you increased its field.

Good timing! I was actually doing a batch in my shop this afternoon. I bore out the Babbitt and press in bronze bearing material then bore that for the bendix. Hello Gents, I am helping troubleshoot a belt driven generator and wondering if anyone knows if the internal wiring would be exactly the same as a standard generator. The belt driven generator will be spinning the opposite direction of the gear driven generator. I have changed polarity on other cars...
