Allen. It’s a 21 to 25 type. It’s a shortened housing with a Ruckstell center that I want to convert back to a standard length unit.

As long as we are talking about lifters What are these? The smooth ones are a little less than 5/8" and the banded ones are about 11/16" diameter.

I'm putting a top on a 1916. It had the original top on it. When I removed the original there was no evidence of a front windshield flap. When I installed tops on other two man types I used the 23-25. type flap because they were just drivers and that type is better. Questions are: Did they all have ...

Did all of the bowl side drain types have the long throttle and choke levers?
When did they change the orientation of the data plate from reading from the outside to reading it from the inside?
It appears the side drains were one way and the later ones the other.

I use a cart so I can push it in and out of my shop. I also us a garden hose for the water supply.

I ran a set for several thousand miles. The ones I had ran pretty good. I would do it again if the price had not gone way up. The tube is filled with foam. No, you cannot save the tires. Take a Sawzall to them to get them off.
