Here's a front end Friday shot of the radiator on a '16 couplet a friend is temporarily fostering. It belongs to The Sage of Oblong, IL.

Re: How I installed a new muffler

I came up with an exhaust pipe that keeps the exhaust fumes totally away from the spare. Reader’s Digest version here: I bought a ten foot long piece of inch and a half exhaust pipe for about $15. I cut off a piece about three feet long and had a muffler shop put two 45º bends in it. By trial and er...

Re: Exhaust manifold question

Our ’22 touring has the same exhaust manifold as yours has. The comments are correct about it being unlikely to warp. It’s a good unit to have. The carb and intake manifold on the touring routinely iced up from moderately to seriously. There seems to be no heat pipe (or stove) available for the exha...

Re: Dealer Badge

Here's the Bauer Ford badge on our '25 coupe which was sold new in Cincinnati about 10 miles where it now lives in Taylor Mill, KY. The Latonia Motor Company badge on our '22 touring is from a dealership that was located about 2 miles from where it's presently garaged, also in Taylor Mill. KY.

Help with a key rack

Does anyone know where I might be able to acquire just the copy (or background) for a key rack as pictured? I can make the board to which it attaches. All I need is the paper “artwork”. I put together the one pictured many years ago and the decades have not been kind. Thanks kindly in advance, Tom

If anyone can supply me with the length and width dimensions of this key rack it would be greatly appreciated. The jpg attached was originally posted back around 2017. Thanks kindly in advance, Tom.

Re: Bauer Tilt Wheel Badges Now Available

I'd like to echo Tim's comments. Even if you haven't a Bauer wheel to which to attach a badge it's an interesting item to have on its own merits. I received the three I ordered from John on Friday the 22nd having been mailed Wednesday. Way to go, USPS. The quality is excellent. It's hard to imagine ...

Re: What name have you given your T

Naming a machine is somewhat like naming a child. None the less here are the names with which we have tagged our four T Models and one A Model. The 1922 touring is OSITA, an acronym for Old Shot In The A**. The '24 roadster answers to Howard, from whom he was acquired. The '25 coupe is known far and...

Bill, you might check with some local towing companies. I have seen an arrangement such as you'd like in use by several different towing businesses here in the northern Kentucky area.

Re: Places we used to eat on the road.

Putz’s is a Cincinnati institution. Notice “is a Cincinnati institution” as in the present tense. This original stand opened in 1938. Putz’s is still in business and run by the same family several generations removed from the founders, although at a different location. For anyone interested here is ...

Coupe weight

There is a Duke's mixture of weights out there when I search for the weight of an ordinary 1927 T coupe.

Has anyone weighed theirs or have a definitive weight for their machine?

Fender's Towing is still in business, still in Newport, probably only a few blocks from where the photo was taken. Anyone else of the opinion the airborne T would be a candidate for restoration today?

Re: Badges? We ain’t got no badges!

Living in the northern Kentucky community of Taylor Mill, a city by which Cincinnati grew up, I never knew of a Northern Kentucky Motor Club affiliate of the AAA. Rudimentary research has uncovered nothing. But when I saw this on Greedbay I bid and was lucky enough to get it for a modest amount from...

Here’s a photo of our ’25 coupé. It’s just an honest old T Model. The photo was taken last October on the road back to our house. I love the sepia tone as it imparts a flavor of the old to the new.

Good morning all. What's on my miniature mind is removing, as best as possible, oil stains on a smooth concrete floor where our T's have unceremoniously marked their territory. There have been posts in the past but I can't seem to recall the magic words to find them in the archives. So if you have a...

Re: Period Photo - Snow Day!

A few year back son #2 commandeered the garage to work on the Mustang he raced. Our touring went to the barn and the Saturn belonging to She Who Must Be Obeyed went outside in the snowfall. (She wasn’t at all happy about that.) The call went out for some adult beverages and I volunteered. On a whim ...
