WTB: Deep Oil Sump
Hi all. I'm looking for a deep oil sump for a full pressure speedster engine I'm building. None of the vendors seem to sell them anymore. The engine will have a Sherman Super Fire head on it so it would be kind of neat to find one of the matching Sherman sumps to go with it but that's not all that i...

FS: Zenith HF 3 1/2F
Fully rebuilt Zenith HF 3 1/2F. The rebuild included a new larger aluminum venturi and was converted to adjustable jets. The carb will come with the float height already set to the correct height. Included will be a set of tuning instructions. The bowl tag says HT 3 1/2F but it is an HF. The origina...

Stromberg RF
I thought some of you might like this. I'm just finishing up a rebuild on this Stromberg RF. This one was a little more challenging than some of the other carbs I've done due to most of the brass parts welding themselves into the aluminum body. The idle jet was the biggest issue. I ended up just dri...

WTB Wrist Pins
Hello,
I'm looking for a set of wrist pins (two if possible) for a speedster engine I'm building. They need to be machined without the groove in the center for the pinch bolt as I'm going to be using a full floating pin setup. They also need to be the stock .740" O.D.
Thanks I'm advance

Re: WTB - Deep oil sump
I'd be interested in the oil sump if you have it. I've already got a scat stroker crank, vw oil pump conversion and one of Macs distributors. The oil sump is the last part that I need.
Do you have any pictures of the sump?
Thanks

Re: 12v starter conversion
I tested the coils. Coils 1 and 2 have the same polarity and coils 3 and 4 have the same polarity. I'm unsure about how I would go about fixing this so that the coils have the right polarity.

These were the diagram that I followed when re-wiring the coils. Here's also a picture of the coils

12v starter conversion
Hi everybody, I've been working on converting a starter to run on 12v and have run into a problem. The field coils have been rewired and the starter has been assembled. When I hook power to it I can get the shaft to turn about a 1/16" and then it won't turn any further. My question is, do you have t...
