Every year about this time we see posts like this asking to buy, borrow, or use someone's spaces. BE CAREFUL! The time to buy something at Hershey is when you see it. I can certainly appreciate the do-it-yourself spirit, but wheels is not the place to try and jury-rig repairs. Time to turn this project over to the professionals as has already been recommended.

I thought it might be Chris Hall in the photo. Chris is a well known collector and antique dealer. Don't know if it's for sale or not but it's typical of the great stuff he finds.

Spotted this 1915 Towncar listed for sale on Prewar.com. Several good photos with the ad. Interesting and seldom seen.

Re: Wood felloe wheel - assesment

My ten cents worth - If you are seeing red rust "dust" around where the wood felloe meets the steel rim, that's a good indication the wheel is loosening up. You may have to drive around a bit and keep an eye on that area if the wheels have recently been painted to hide the problem. While the spokes ...

Re: George Norton's lil red truck.

Yes, it's indeed George's old truck. George was one of the earliest representatives for J.C. Taylor. He was a past AACA National President and I always enjoyed spending time with him, especially listening to him speak. I have a few spark plugs in my collection that once belonged to him. The truck is...

https://covamodeltclub.weebly.com/ is the correct link for the Colonial Va Model T club - the link I provided originally was the Model A club. The cut-off valve you refer to - is that the one on the sediment bulb under the gas tank? Or, is it a shut-off valve mounted on the carb fuel line itself. If...

Lots of T folks in Va. We're a bit further south, but try contacting the Colonial Virginia Model T Ford Club. https://www.cvmafc.com/ There is a contact tab on the website. Lots of good tech help available and there may be contact with other T closer you can contact through the Nation's Capital Mode...

The Packard and the Model T

One of our local AACA members, Ken Packard, came over to get his 1st driving lesson in a Model T. I willingly supplied my 14. I figured heck, if the Navy trusts him to drive a submarine, he should be just fine in a Model T. Yes- Ken has been selected to command a U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine! Right n...

The best way to promote future events is to report on the most recent one with lots of photos, positive vibe, etc. Perhaps with all the stuff going on they forgot to give someone the job of reporting on it. Maybe next time. I've not looked for info on Bakersfield yet.

Good response. 1/2" pipe thread is the Model T standard, and the Champion X is my own recommendation, and probably a majority of other T owners. That said, there are a lot of other brands of spark plugs that were produced with that thread, and still are (Motorcraft for example). However-some are bet...

I'd have to think the original hubcaps are getting harder to find. I see this as a waste of time on the part of the USPS and an unnecessary additional cost of doing business for them.
