How (or is it) bonded metallically to the frame or is it isolated? Seems like a risk of static discharge without an electrical/mechanical bond to the car's frame.

I need some help figuring out how to mount the gas tank located under the driver's seat on my '21 Center Door. Does it sit on top of the floorboards and be held in place by the driver's seat and if so how is it bonded to the car's frame? I can't find any photos online or an explanation on how it is ...
