Re: Engine serial number
Steve Bruce McCalley does mention in his book
"Generally all Canadian engine numbers begin with "C" but some exceptions seem to appear, with "HC" and "SC" being noted, as well as some without any letter.
But perhaps it is a replacement engine, not sure,

Carburetor spray and choke rods
My recent purchase of a 1927 Model TT truck. I have a few questions about the carburetor choke and spray needle. From what I can see it has the later version Holly NH carburetor that has the drain centred on the bowl (T6202) rather than offset drain like the earlier ones, however the spray needle is...

Seat back mount
I have a 1927 Model TT. How is the seat back attached to the cab. I have found the vendors have a mount but it is specific to the C Cab and not the Closed cab. If people can post their ideas pics of how to mount this seat back. Thanks John

Cowl Vent
My recently acquired 1927 Model TT truck has the front cowl air vent. It seems the knob/handle on the inside of the cab is missing and Im not sure what it looked like when it was new. Does anyone have ideas, pics of how i can restore this to something that is original. Thanks John Ernst

Engine serial number
I have recently purchased a 1927 Model TT and am doing a bit of research on it. The engine serial number is SC749255. Obviously the C is Canadian but I dont know what the S is for. Also the number is much higher than known list of Canadian engine serial numbers. Does anyone have any further informat...

Re: Rebuilding Model T coils
I suppose its simply cost prohibitive when you can find one with these windings intact and therefore only have to replace the capacitor.

Rebuilding Model T coils
I dont know too much about Model T coils but from what I understand when checking a coil and you find the primary or secondary windings are damaged that the coil is not rebuildable. I noticed that Snyders and Langs and maybe others sell the secondary and primary windings. Does this mean I can use th...

Re: Adjusting buzzer coils
Does anyone know how to obtain a Strobospark coil tester ? I understand these were made by Fun Projects and they were bought out by Birdhaven which is now owned by Texas T parts. Are these still being made or do i have to find a used one for sale?

Touring roof windshield clamps
Does anyone have any insight into the difference between these 2 windshield clamps ? The right one came with my 1922 Touring and the left one came with the 1923 roof irons i just found. The right ones have a smaller diameter and dont fit on the windshield posts I now have.
