Re: Head Light Identification
Being that the fork mount doesn't have set screws or bolts as the Model T lights did, the vehicle that this light came from must have had threaded forks. Both top and bottom have been machined.

Keith, no inscription or markings anywhere that I can see on the out the side, I will have to try and open it maybe the reflector has some markings on it.

Head Light Identification
I have this one head light that looks similar to a model T, but I don't think it is, I am hoping someone ID it.
It is 10-inchs in diameter, original glass with bubbles.

Re: Replacing the coil box on my late cousin's T
Michael, the wiring is rather simple as long as you make the proper connections, you can use factory made harness like the vendors sell or make your own. The connections on your switch plate may need to be cleaned or replaced. You didn't mention if it was 6 or12 volt system on your truck.

Also, if you have the 1/8 NPT die, use it to check the threads on the elbow.

Wizard or Simmons flapper
It's been 11 years ago that posted looking for information to identify a carburetor. Turned out to be a Wizard or Simmons, no markings on it. https://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/411944/448382.html?1401892072 Since then that carburetor has been sitting on the shelf collecting dust. Interesting that it has an accessory water pump drawing from the bottom of the radiator pumping into the rear of the head. It looks to have the one-piece valve cover making it 11/1/21 or newer. Does it have a casting date or a number stamped in the boss above the water inlet? NOV 1 Engine production...

Coil Box Identification
I'm looking though the Model T Ford parts Identification guide volume 1, trying to figure out what year car this coil box fits. Re: Sorting out the Clutch
Vernon, your linkage is binding on the inside radius, I have taken a file to that area and removed enough material to free things up.
That will give the linkage move lateral movement, perhaps just enough to clear the Bendix cover.

Re: 5-Z-1170 wood wheel hub puller
After a bit of light sanding, it is a little clearer, the Z can be seen. At the bottom of the slit I can see the bottom portion of the 6, to the right what I thought was a 2 is actually a zero and the 5 after that. In front of the Z there was something stamped; to faint to make but the rest of chart...

Is this the type of wheel puller for the TT? It does have the ford script. On the left side of the slit are 2 illegible markings, to the right side is 25. No other markings found.

Re: 1918 Roadster Seat Wood & Mounting
Yes JR, that is correct. The head of the machine screw does not have a slot. I'm not sure of the correct name for the body iron that creates the bead down the back of the body is, but the holes in that part are counter sunk to match the head of the machine screw, 10-24 thread. The driver's side pane...

JR, I am also in need of wood plans for my 17 project. On my 17-22 body panels you can clearly see the spot weld as have been talked about above. My drivers side panel was spot welded in 13 spots, 4 places on the passenger side blow the door. I'm thinking that these panels were most likely spot weld...
