Here is what I did and where I am now. I removed the clevis pins and moved the brake leaver all the way forward. I had to screw the clevises in, about 1 1/2" to hock the pins up again. I move the leaver forward and it is not touching the floorboard. I can push it an inch or 2 before it touches the board. I would say the clutch is slipping if I am not pushing on the leaver, ebrake. I didn't know there was a high gloss tung oil. I used Minwax, it said to apply with a cloth. How do I fix this and get the high gloss? Can this oil be removed?

I decided to go with the Tong oil. With the brass radiator and my other brass parts I felt it would look better. I have a black steering wheel if I change my mind. I would like to find a brass bell for the horn. Thank you all for your opinions and input.

I purchased the bows 4 from Langs for $99. They are more like a 60 or 70 degree angle instead of a 90 degree angle. The guy at Langs said I could cut them off and install them in the brackets and they should be OK. Seams to me like a lot of pressure on the mounting brackets. I did push down on them ...

I think I called it by the wrong name, I think the bolt in the picture that is in the hole is the Tie rod bolt, this is the hole that is oblong, does this make any sense? How do I fix this?

Here is where I am now. At least it will usually start with about 2 cranks. If I let it warm up I can lower it to the ground and not hear a load on the engine. If the T is on the grass or gravel it will not creep forward, if it on concrete it will still creep forward even after taking it for a ride....

I have contacted 2 local Model T clubs, the one wants me to join 1st and the other has more vehicles in the '60's than the teens.
