Re: 1913 ILL plate for T

That is a cool front license plate. I didn't know they made them like that. Designed to let the air flow thru, so it can be mounted on the fins of the radiator.

Sorry, I don't have the pliers you are looking for. But I will add to the discussion...At least you get a bump to the top. Attached are 3 photos of the 1913 French version of the "Ford Price List of Parts" book that is available on the Cimorelli.com website. The tool section shows 3 tool kit tools t...

This one is a 1904 Columbia Electric...I'm removing myself from the competition. I think I have the same book as Adrian. ;) Mark Nunn...Can you tell me where you got the 3 photos in your second post "Next three photos"? I believe that is the 1887 Copeland. Steam powered, built by Lucius D. Copeland. May be the only one made?

Re: WTB: Early style spark rod Lever, part #3530.

Mike...thanks for the info...looks like it's my turn to chase the rabbit.
I have the newer style on my car now that I bent, it works fine, but am planning on doing some work on the column, so would like to try getting the correct parts together first.

Still looking!

Re: WTB: Early style spark rod Lever, part #3530.

Melba, I looked in the vendor's catalog and see the discrepancy. Ford used the same part number 3530 for both the angle and straight styles of levers because they are interchangeable. The vendor uses 3530E for people who want the angle style used on earlier cars. So yes, the picture shows a 3530E an...

Re: WTB: Early style spark rod Lever, part #3530.

I believe 3530E is the number used in a vendor's catalog selling a reproduction.
The original Ford Parts books use the number 3530.
Both parts are the same design.

WTB: Early style spark rod Lever, part #3530.

Does anyone have an early style spark rod Lever, part #3530, that they would sell? (See photo).
Original or reproduction would be fine.

I know the later style would work, but I'd like to try finding this one first.

Need help identifying a coil box switch accessory pointer part.

This was laying inside a used original coil box I purchased years ago (see picture). It does not appear to fit a stock coil box switch in any way, but it does appear to fit the stock keyhole with the notches some how? It has a patent date of 10 15 18 on it. Any idea what it is?...Does anyone have a ...

Re: Side Curtain Snaps

They are called "Tubular Rivets". The shank is hollow to a certain depth depending on the thickness of the materials being riveted together. The die used is called a "Tubular Rivet Setter" or "Splash Anvil" (see photos below). I bought one on ebay for $29 with shipping. It is for rivets with a 1/8" ...

Re: 1913 Holley S Carb Valve Seat Differences. Anyone know why?

I have two of these carbs as spares...Both of them have the needle guide, and I think the one on my car has it too...It looks like the guide is a separate part and has four punch marks spaced around the perimeter to hold it in place...perhaps yours were removed or came loose and fell out...the punch...

Re: Need help identifying possible 1909-1911 top strap to radiator clips.

Thanks guys for the responses.
So these "Snap Hooks" are too small to have been from a Model T top strap.

Russ...thanks for sharing your knowledge...this is just what I needed to know.

These will go in the non-Model T parts pile, and I can stop wondering about them.

Need help identifying possible 1909-1911 top strap to radiator clips.

I found these 2 clips (see 4 attached photos) in a coffee can of parts that came with my 1913 runabout. They look like the clips I've seen that attach the early 1909-1911 top straps down to the radiator bolts hooks, but they are only wide enough to accept about a 9/16"-5/8" wide strap. Seems like th...
