I wish I could have gone but this year I had Spring Break child possession, so we went skiing at Angelfire NM and I was forbidden both by my children and wife to go to Chickasha lest I buy a Roadster. Next year I do not have possession so hopefully I can go.

Re: Ooga is Iffy.

Or liquid electric tape which I have already from a previous project? :-) Say, I am looking high and low for hard felt washers on Lowes (I have one close by) and Ace (far away) websites but so far nothing. Any pointers are appreciated.

How did they figure out that #18 chassis was the #18 chassis?

#18 is a chassis that turned up on a farm in Slippery Rock, PA, then sold to someone in New York state.

Thanks, If using fiber washers what keeps the wire part going through the hole from possibly shorting on the rim?

I would head to your local ACE Hardware & check through the fiber washer assortment - you'll need 4 as they go on both sides.

Lots of air pumps and horns this year. I picked up a porcelain sign for my garage and amazing 1910-1912 reproduction brass head lights. 30 x 3.5 rims were sparse this year, I was only able to get about 1 good one and one that is missing a mount. Before I Put this Table Saw in the Trash...

So before I put this table saw in the trash I thought I would run it by the off topic forum to see if this can be salvaged. It is a Black and Decker Firestorm FS210LS table saw. The armature looks damaged (see pictures with wire broken) so it probably needs a replacement armature which is: Black and...

It worked great for a Sunday drive a week ago then this Sunday it is back to iffy. The post that the wire is on is probably the problem. I wiggled it and it temporarily worked again. The armature could use a cleaning as well as getting the junk out between the segments. Check that both brushes have free travel & spring tension.
