I don't think anyone has ever made the case that numbers matching (legitimately) is a deterrent. Right hand drive, in the American market might not be offset by them but likely a big plus in other markets. Still a very cool car, don't see many 26-27 with cowl lights.

Except for the fender bracket, the optional 1926-27 Model T and the standard Model A 1928-29(early) model A, drum style brake/tail light assemblies are basically the same.

Re: Help getting a 1912 to run on battery
Ten post coil box?
If the starter battery is known good, just disconnect the cycle battery and run a 12 gauge wire from the + post of the starter battery (or hot side of the solenoid) to the coil box. If the engine still quits the problem lies between the bat coil box terminal and the coils.

Re: 1926 1927 Speedometer
Thanks for the information, At first, all I could find online was a picture of what looked like a period advertisement for the 490 and 160 and it showed the spiral gear set up on a wire wheel. Lang's has a repro of it but it only works with wire wheels (no mention if works with adapted Models A wire...

Basically the answer would be yes - if it's a technical question. If more along the lines of what is cor...

Re: Can we Have a Dedicated "Period Photo" Section of Forum?
Just my 2¢ before inflation - While it's inevitable an occasional post will be made in the wrong place, sub forums can be very helpful for "housekeeping" on both ends. Just for examples, One for Forum Use questions and "testing", One for Trucks/Commercial, one for Speedsters/Modified and another jus...

Re: '26 Touring refurb...
That is so cool. Great minds must think alike. I called about that car a couple months ago but it was sold. Must have took two days just to wash it, looks great now! The listing and YouTube vid are still up if you want to get the "real" before pictures. Congrats and Good Luck with it!
