Yes, it is the BB1 that I ran on ot previously. I think it is rich. I am going to start with Fuel pressure and work my way forward making adjustments.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I have an adjustable coupler, using 4 set screws. Been all over the place around the timing at TDC. I have a boroscope that look at the bore. Yes, after failure if I move to a different position it is still a dead coil. It’s the first position in the coil box closest to the driver

I run my RAJO BB with a Carter BB1 updraft with a fuel
Pump set at 1.5 lbs of pressure. It’s a good combination. I had a few different combinations and settled on this as it had good pickup with the accelerator pump.

I tried Solex and BB-1 and I am a fan of the BB1. Easier to adjust and I like the updraft, it reacts better when giving throttle to it. As for a period correct one, I will defer to others.

From what I understated the program has grown quite a bit. I know they have placed a lot of graduates in some very prestigious collections as well as opening up their own shops. I believe they are working on a Mercedes for a Pebble Beach Entry now. should be pretty cool when finished.

Thanks for the replies and input! I put new bands and shoes on right out of the box. I’ll try adjusting the tranny brake to RMB setup again but when I activate the RMB setup they have that spongy feel.

As for being glazed over by normal use I’m not sure how that would happen.
