Re: Crankshaft to block location

Regarding positioning from main bolt holes, does anyone have any reference dimensions that would allow one to check the saddle face front and back?
I like most centre the crank on the saddle. When using a good crank without too much wear on the thrust faces I find it works.

Re: Stromberg M-1 carburetor

I purchased a MB1 from Stan and recieved it just a couple weeks before he passed away. He claimed the MB1 was the late Ralph Ricks favorite carb.

Re: Want to buy 26/7 Transmission Thrust washer.

Clutch drums are a dime a dozen and for whatever reason not all the same. I keep a bin full of them and measure from the inside face down to the lock bolt. Simply substitute for one that provides enough clearance. You can turn that face back to suite if needed.

Re: Most likely our last tour

Hey Tim,
Enjoyed this post, and it kinda warmed me up a little in western Canada where we are snow covered and frozen. Brought back memories for me as 2 years ago I had a wonderful visit with Mike at his home.

Re: Should You Balance Transmission Drums

Dan,
Just curious, was core shift or misalignment front to back the major cause of imbalance?
