Re: Floating Hubs / Safety Hubs

I have found them very helpful, first time we broke an axle, it meant we could tow it back home after it snapped a block from home and didn't destroy the guard or bodywork, the second time when a driver hit us side on at 40 km/h after ignoring a stop sign, the axle housing has compressed but we coul...

Re: 1926 Brake drum Bushing

Has anyone come up with a reproduction of the reamer?
Would be quite helpful for setting the drum and drive plate up so everything runs true

Cheers

Re: Headgaskets: Everybody is Out of Them

Has anyone got a drawing for the head gasket? We are looking at getting some water cut here and trying to get as accurate as possible working from a head

Re: Seeking advice for shipping from New Zealand

Yes, Kiwi shipping are part of Mainfreight who are quite a large freight and logistics company here. We have used Kiwi shipping quite a few times to get parts from the USA back to New Zealand. One thing to note, Feight costs may be quite high at the moment from here due to the demands on shipping du...

Hi Guys Just piecing together a brass speedometer for a car, we are not worried about it being operational but aiming for visually complete. How is the bezel attached to the main housing? The one I have here looks like it may have had 3 copper pins holding the bezel in place? were these screws, rive...

Re: 26 tudor windshield

Have had the joy of working on 2 windshield frames here in the last few years. One was after a glass company removed the glass to replace a cracked screen and all but destroyed the frame ( the glass had been fitted with eurethane previously) I was fortunate to have an extremely patient panelbeater (...

Re: Down under. Two toned paint schemes

Hi Jim Further to Adrian's photo of the blue tudor, here is one of its stablemates. The blue one had originally been a green colour (still visible under the blue and grey layers) The red one was our choice of colour scheme as it had been painted with a broom when we found the body. Both of these car...

Re: Tourer year identification and engine questions

Hi Luke

Have you been in contact with some of the 'local' t guys?
There are a few in the Waikato that may be able to assist if you are trying to piece parts together.
I'm a bit far away but can ask around if needed
