Advice needed, BAT versus MAG

A friend has a dilemma about his T and asked me if I could shed any information. I suggested to clean the MAG post but I am not sure if this is the remedy. His engine starts on BAT but not on MAG. The engine runs smoothly on BAT but rough on MAG. The T is a '22. Any and all input is appreciated.

Shuddering and lunging

Shudders when low pedal is depressed when starting out at proper spark and throttle lever positions.
Lunges and wavers at high gear, smooths out only at full throttle at proper spark lever position. Full throttle too fast and risky for certain road conditions.
What are the causes?

Canadian Model T Restorer

Am looking for a particular shop.
No luck with a Google search.
The name of the shop is DUCHAINE AUTO-BODY ENRG LONGUEUIL.
I have a Model T that has a sticker affixed to its window with the above name.
I am interested in asking them what restorations, if any, that they performed on the T.

WTB: Oil/Kerosene headlamp/sidelight

Want to buy a match to any one of the three lamps that I have so that I can gain a matching pair.
Would also buy a pair in the same styles if you don't want to break up your pair.
Prefer the styles as shown and not the conventional common Model T oil lamps.
