For Sale: Huckster Body

Very nice Huckster body just out of long term storage. I don’t know who made it but from what I have been told, it’s probably 20-30 years old. This body doesn’t appear to have ever been mounted. I’m not a wood expert, but I’m pretty sure it is made out of oak. It has a nice vinyl top covering with n...

I agree with Chris, the tap test is a good way to tell the difference. Laminated glass has a more dull thud and plate glass has a more sharp rap.

My grandfather stripped the paint off of the wheels on my late ‘13 Touring back in the ‘50’s. James,

Listen to Scott Conger, he is giving great advice for how long to stay in low gear.

“Myself, I rarely get to the middle of an intersection from a dead stop still in low gear, typically by then, I am in high gear with a light throttle until the engine obviously will take more. ”

Bill’s listing for the 1916-27 mirrors states that you have to drill and tap a hole in your windshield for the later cars.

Well worth drilling in my opinion to take advantage of such nice mirrors!
