Close to a year ago, maybe longer, when AI was just beginning to rear its ugly head I threw up the red flag warning on this forum. Some believed me, quite a few seemed not to or at least didn't care. It's getting worse by the week if not the day. It has been described by security experts as being c...

So now everytime you look for the Ford triangle logo online its going to direct you to new car sales. Allen,
I hope you plan on either doing something about your steering. It can be exciting in a bad way employing stock steering at higher speeds. Many opt for an actual steering box that will prevent feedback.

Re: Disc brakes
It's normally possible to put a non-synchronized gearbox or 2-speed axle back into gear, while the vehicle is moving, without grinding gears. You have to use the throttle to match the speed of the gears you want to engage to one another. This used to be a common driving skill. This is very true, I ...

Hi John, You should be able to fit the 26/27 trans in your 3 dip pan & use the 23 hogs head, you just can't use the wide band as it will not be centered on the drum & you can't use the 26/27 hogs head because the ears collide with the back of the block..... Re: Official Conversion Chart Of How To Interpret Antique Car Ads
For Sale One owner, ran when parked. Clean, may run but needs some engine work. Excellent opportunity for a rare investment with an older restoration. Fresh from 25 year storage with no rust. Many new parts with rebuilt engine that uses no oil, always driven slowly. I just have no time to complete. ...

Regarding the pinstriping set. Those sets require skill to use. Might be far less frustrating to get a buegler. A good friend of mine turned me onto them, you've seen his work I'm sure... https://www.beugler.com Now that you are getting more confident driving it is more important than ever to remind...

Bug pump on the back of my cam, been there running just fine for many decades. You just need to insure the pickup and discharge are in the correct orientation. This ensures when shut down the pump is not allowed to leak the oil out and when running the flywheel helps to force the oil in.

Re: Pressurizing Gas Tank
So, your out running your T on a 95 degree day. You notice your fuel is running low, let’s say 1/4 tank. By the time you get home the gas is at 1/8 of a tank with the other 7/8 full of warm air. It gets rather cool over night, the air in the tank cools down. With the one way valve wouldn’t that cre...

Believe it or not I also have an unstamped 14 block, you made me go out to check the cast date (7-24-14) on my block. Regardless of whether or not a replacement block was made it would have been made for a car older than the block. Therefore, a '14 or '15 replacement block would be as acceptable as ...

Fitting a new wheel, made up the adapter and she fits beautifully. The original was a T bent out so the neville is a near perfect swap.

I built a 4" extension to lower an A carb lower than a stock position T carb. (Not a concern on an "improved" model.) Don't have to worry about 5 gallon hills. Will clear a generator also. A stock A intake manifold & carb sits to high requiring a fuel pump. Got tired of fuel pump failures. When you...

Re: Carburetor recommendations
Take a vaporizer intake manifold and invert it. You now have a shorter more direct run for a sided raft without the generator issue. Cut a steel plate at least 3/8 and drill your intake hole and countersink to machine bolts to hold it to the manifold. Now you can drill and tap for whichever sidedraf...

A nice thought is to drill out a bolt in the front plate and direct the bypass/relief there so that it doubles to put oil on the timing/dis/mag gears as well as the front of the motor.

Re: Model T Trailer plans/ideas?
Running without springs is something I have been toying with. However, considering long term I want more period wheels I think it is smarter to use springs. Considering the speedster has a shortened wheelbase and is lighter than a T the Buick should be more than capable of towing.
