I assume with some work involved, a 28-29 A stone guard could be made to work, even if it didn't fit perfectly, but at Home Depot, Lowes, and most well stocked hardware stores, they sell sheets of expanded metal (usually aluminum) in various patterns.

You didn't mention whether you measured the length of your exhaust pipe and what that measurement was, if you did. Chances are, you don't have the original 26-27 (long pipe that inserted through the front muffler end; went all the way to the back muffler end, and served as the smallest pipe or shell...

If you haven't done it already, please don't 'de-flower' the virgin block, There are plenty of 26-27 blocks that have been, either by Ford, or an unscrupulous owner, out there and someone would likely trade you for one. I would if I were withing driving distance.

Allen is correct. ALL 26-27 T front fenders, used on ALL car body styles are the same. Only TT truck fenders were different.
