I would say, the reason it is so clear to see. It said to not have had a body on it for over 50 years. Which makes it not hold moisture, preventing some of the rust. I would really like to know the meaning. I cannot believe someone out here doesn't know.

The shaft is attached to the gear box that was powered by the PTO in front of the trailer. Then the chain attaches to a large blower. That is why I think it is some kind of seed cleaner or dryer. It also had a shoot on it. All the hardware was still there for the bed. But all the wood had rotted away.

Continuity test shows that it fires on 2 terminals. Each opposite of each other.

Scott, you are correct on the contacts. I just tried the drive gear, and it screws right on the end of the T camshaft. This fits perfectly on the end of the T timing cover. And why would they have called this a super eight? This also has a patent pending. So, I have no date to research the patent.

This only has places for 4 plug wires. And this fits a T. This is why I am wanting information and literature on this. John has some information posted above. Maybe this helps some.

The label says Ford super eight timer. Waco Mfg. Minneapolis Minnesota.

Even though it says super eight, it is still for a 4-cylinder engine.

Yes, that is the old Ford place of Bloomfield MO. It was built in 1912. It went thru several ownerships. And remained a Ford place until about the start of WW2. Raoul, you got me thinking and I looked at the stamp box. It is AZO with squares in the corners. This dates this PC from 1927 to 1940

Does this odd looking bumper make the car look taller in front or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me? Look at the clearance between the tires and the front fenders. Or is it just the angle of the picture?
