Re: Magneto drive identification
I think it maybe a Lucas unit. I know of 2 vehicles in the UK who have them installed but I can't find any pictures. Nigel Hugo.

Re: Banned by every tire place in town
I am surprised no one has mentioned Michelin Style tire leavers, 3 of those and a big rubber mallet, a couple of long straight leavers, leave the wheel on the car. Do it on a hot day. Michelin is the way to go. Nigel Hugo

Hello Bernd, May I suggest you contact Neil Tuckett at Tuckett Bros in England, they have a very large stocK of used spares and they may be able to help you. If so DPD operates internationally in both our countries so I am sure they could get the part to you quickly and economically. Neil's email ad...

Re: Blockley tyres available?
Just to eliminate any confusion, I have spoken to Blockley this morning and the 30 x 3 -1/2 tube is suitable for both tyre sizes 30 x 3 and 30 x 3 1/2
I hope this helps.

Re: running 12 pinon
Can I run a 12 tooth pinion with a 39 tooth ring gear in a Ruckstell axle. I have run the ring gear with a 13 tooth pinion but it is too highly geared and I want to bring the ration close to 3.25:1.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Old topic Stromberg OF Float adjustments
I had the stumble on flat level roads this year. I had forgotten that 4 years ago I had the same stumble problem when I went to Ireland, it took 2 days to locate the problem because it was so obscure it never crossed my mind nor that of the all the local garage employees where the car was recovered ...

Re: I'm No Stan Howe
The 'stumble' could be caused by the float level being very slightly out of adjustment. I us a Stan Howe rebuilt OF and all the settings given by Stan for slow speed and high speed adjustments when it was first installed only required minor changes to get it running as I wanted. Subsequently on 2 oc...

Re: Has anyone tried these tires?
Blockley exhibited at the Classic Motor Show at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, on the 8th to the 10th of November last year. The only size available at this moment is 30 x 3 1/2 but they told me that the 30 x 3 was scheduled to be available early in 2020. Joe Meakin has a set of 4 on hi...

Re: Information Requested: 14mm Spark Plug
From my experience NGK BP2ES work well. They are suitable for distributor equipped ignition systems, but I have no experience using them with trembler coil systems. Also avoid any with R in the number as these are resistor plugs and will cause problems. I have over 25000 miles off two sets of the BP...
