Lang's sells reproduction wood bodies. There are a couple of wood body makers that advertise in Vintage Ford and MTFCI magazine.

Like I said. Walt Can't be helped! He will need to walk this walk by himself until He finds His vision of the ideal 1917 Model T. and that's why He can't be helped. no one can have the same vision of His perfect car except Him. Thanks to all for trying. That's what Model T folks do. My 2 cents worth...

Sad indeed. My Sincere condolences to His family. Drive your T with the lights on during the day makes a coal black T more visible. Install bright LED bulbs in your headlights makes you more visible and won't kill your generator. when in doubt blow the horn. Assume everyone at a intersection is goin...

When using pay pal If You indicate the money is for a purchase there is insurance coverage and the seller pays the pay pal fee which is not much. If You send the money friends and family you may not have any recourse. If you buy from long time members on the forum You will be fine. I have bought lot...

My advice. Clean up the contacts front to back. use 000 cable from battery to foot switch and starter. Put Vaseline or red battery terminal spray on battery. starter switch and starter lugs / connections. On My T I found someone had replaced a cable going from the battery to starter switch with a lo...

Looking at the photo of the cut out. the lower coil wire going to the terminal lug has been hot and is discolored. The terminal where the coil wire is connected seems to be corroded which will cause the wire to get hot. You may be able to clean up the terminal / wire and re solder the connection wit...

Re: New LED bulbs for Miss Molly, my 23 Coupe

I have a pair of the 9475 wedge shape led lights. Didn't like them. Way too bright and put out a funny C or U light pattern depending on whether your car has OEM or after market reproduction headlight sockets which almost always have the wrong pin orientation. If your lights are moving left to right...

Can you get a bonded title in Kansas ? My Depot hack from OK did not have a title. Got a bonded title and in three years it becomes a regular title. in the meantime vehicle is registered and can be driven and sold with the bonded title. Good Luck.

The vendors used to sell a version of what you built that clamps to the frame with the brake switch activated by the movement of the brake pedal. But if they still do its probably out of stock like almost every thing else.

It all depends on your age. The average life expectancy for a white male in the US is 75.3 Not a good fit for any one over 60. several years back MTCFA had a reduced life membership rate of $400 ? for elderly members. over 65 ?. A sliding scale for life membership is a better fit if you want to maxi...

If you tightly grasp both meter leads while the meter is showing the 3 volts You will probably see the voltage drop or disappear. Modern meters are very sensitive and will pick up even the slightest leaking but with any load ever so slight such as your body resistance the voltage will go away. Like ...
