Most body shops will NOT paint your stuff like a body. They are making too much doing insurance work.
I was told this a few years ago while looking for someone to paint my Roadster. I made my own booth and did myself.

I would just get a later housing to match pinion bearing housing on driveshaft and the Ruckstell housing. Save the early stuff.
But that is just me.

I have been asked to consider making another run of my Stevens Front axle tooling. This will be the Upper Tapered Reamer and the Lower Reamer/Tap. I can only do this if I have at least 12 people wanting a set. I don’t know price but am sure it will be higher that last run. I think it will be over $5...

Last year at Luray there was a sample of the new reproduction Driven Plate that someone was working on making. Looked great, hope to see more this year. Dan

You can sometimes find them in Canada.
Have not seen one for sale in a while.

Buick 3800 V6 pistons will work. Need special bushings for A rods.

You need a set of wood plans by Mel Miller or Leon Parker.
Someone needs to find out what happened to all of their plans, buy the rights and start reproducing them.

Since you don’t know what is inside it you might try taking it to your doctor office and get it xray of it.

Lugs were moved on the late 25 narrow and 26/27 wide drums.
Bolts are in lugs of the early narrow drums and not in lugs on the removable lug drums.

Larry that is north of the Mason Dixon line.

Those are for the metal fire wall cars . I think that is to be sure the wood screws won’t touch the firewall. The thinner ones are for wood firewalls.

Looking for some that rebabbited rods. Does anyone know a good source? Need several sets. Have cores, Will ship.

Was looking in wiring drawer and saw these. Thought yous guys would like to see some original terminal strips. Most are NOS. The five space one has the word bat on one. Dan

The bolt is 5/16” NC. Over all length is about 1”. Head is zinc?

Art I was hoping someone would jump in and make them for $150 each so my 5 gal bucket full of used ones would double in price from $5.00 each to $10.00 each.

The demand will depend on the price.
Everybody wants a rebuilt front axle till I tell them the cost. Then they say they will just go find a good one for $10.

There was a how in one of the Ford Owner and Dealer magazines on soldering cracks with lead. I have done it a few times with success. I also have used lock n stitch too. Most blocks are too thin there due to core shift. Too Hugh Jass is not still around to tell us how they would fix that with MBRT. 😎
