I pulled both my '26 Touring and '27 Fordor over "the bridge" (we Michiganders rarely name it; everyone knows what you mean by "the bridge") in my 28' enclosed trailer in a 35 MPH wind. Thanks for looking and offering this up. No. It does not look like the right part...but I wish it was.

I am a purist and make no apologies for that. Saying that I can add that I would be proud to own this car.

Mayhap I am dreaming but I'm looking for the last little detail I need for my '26 Fordor restoration, the elusive dome light switch. If you happen to have one please let me know. It looks like the photo I copied from this forum.

I received a thank you from a member of staff for mentoring her through some professional development. For those unfamiliar with it, this is a Franklin Mint 1913 Ford T Touring, though the model looks a lot nicer than my real car. I think she nailed the gift!

This comes with the Horn and bracket. It is very loud with a great AH-OO-GAH sound. Every time I honk it the handle has to be pulled back up but otherwise it works perfectly. I would say the asking price is...um, optimistic. And 10-15 left? Apparently they are all in Michigan as I know of nearly that many right here. Also, just thinking out loud. I do agree with the others that it looks like a nice car.

Mark Eyre and I are a little perplexed. Last week he bought what appears to be a 17-18 Coupelet but some details are mysterious. Have the doors been changed? Is it a transitional car? The wood is highly intact and it appears largely original. Obviously some pictures are worth a thousand words so we'...

My 26 Touring has 30" wheels with demountable rims all around. It looks unusual now but very likely is how it was originally.

I removed stuff from my Fordor to get it ready for a trip to Don Booth's place.

This strikes me as a rather unhelpful comment.

Personally, I like to use Murphys Oil Soap and a soft palm sized sponge. I diluted the Murphy's in the hottest water my hands can tolerate when working on the undercarriage. I'd say that eBay body is worth jumping on. Obviously the price is crazy but shoot, but a restored coupe or Runabout, have the Coupelet body restored, mate the two and you are done in a year. Just my 2 cents worth.

Seems to me if all a poster can do is offer negativity, maybe they should no longer be allowed to post. I, for one have been pleased with almost everything every after-market provider has sold to me. Have I had to work at the installation occasionally? Yes. But folks, that's the hobby...and the fun.
