The position of the hand crank is dependent on the position of the engine crankshaft. Bending, twisting or re-drilling the hand crank will not alter this fact.
As stated earlier, with the ignition off just position the hand crank where you want it by rotating the crankshaft.

Sorry, but a water pump on a T does not necessarily result in cooling- this is an ongoing myth...
Circulating water does not universally result in cooling the engine. That's why it's called a "pump" and not a "cooler".

Applying paint to body panels and pieces is the very last thing that is done during a restoration. The body should be assembled prior to painting to avoid what has happened in your situation.

Re: Kevlar band lining sets
Susanne, the answer to your question is simple. The drums were designed to have cotton applied to them- not something like Kevlar which is 5 times stronger than steel. It's not rocket science- cotton and Kevlar are 2 totally different materials. It's similar to having almond "milk" in the dairy cool...

Kevlar bands possess the ability to destroy your drums (and transmission)- why risk it?

Re: Will changing electrical system to 12v devalue the car?
"I am afraid that this might change the character of the car an devalue it. Would it actually do that?" Yes, It will most definitely change the character and value of the car. If your car is unreliable it's not because of the 6 volt system. Fix what's broke or worn out and you will have restored th...

Scott- Well said! The nonsense surrounding this 'pandemic" is ridiculous. It's inconceivable to me that so many Americans buy what the media and government "officials" are peddling. Too many people are willing to go along with the blatant infringement and trampling of their rights. * 655,000 people ...

I have never understood why folks insist on installing those needless and unsightly paper fuel filters. They are totally useless on an original fuel system. Perhaps it's a lack of understanding of what a sediment bulb is and how the fuel delivery system works on a stock T?
