For many years, I have put Prestone Anti Rust in the radiator of our '11. It's drained each fall. I feel that straight water is not good for a T motor. I also think that anti-freeze can find its way in places where it shouldn't. It is engine 55988 and I try to take good care of it.

I use them because Ford did. But considering our 11, engine pans send air through the engine compartment. Between the engine pans, transmission pans and lack of louvers on the hood, air from the radiator goes under the car and by rolling the floor mat down warms the driver and passenger.

Re: WANTED, Rear Spring Shackle '17-'23
I have 2. One is similar to the first photo with square ends. It also has threads for an oiler. The other is like the set depicted on E-Bay. I will send you either or I can bring to Hershey with your name on it.

Re: Help ID aluminum high compression head
The head is identical to the one that was on our Coupelet that is now in the Piquette Museum. It was driven many miles with excellent results. It is a Jensen head, made by Rod Jensen in Chicopee Falls, Mass. It was advertised in the Vintage Ford magazine in the 60's.
