Re: Any pictures of Brewster Green Paint for 1909-10

I painted this old mill with Model A Brewster Green. It is an absolutely, positively, gorgeous color. It usually shows very dark in all but direct sunlight. Apple green pinstripes. The Brewster Green paint code used: #1247 Dal 46=22-49=166-2=346-4=476-17=892-27=1082 0D264B8D-1CEC-4788-9646-1C4A6314C...

Re: 1930s garage fixtures

While not homemade fixtures, this K.R.W. ad from 1926 can serve as a good blueprint for laying out a shop.

Re: Model t as a daily in the early 40s?

I was in elementary school in 1953 in a small town in Washington. Across the road from the schoolyard was a second hand store that was ran by an older couple. I would stop in after school sometimes and wander the aisles. Never bought anything, just liked to look. Their business vehicle was an old to...

Re: Seen in Yellowstone?

You are probably correct Rich. The car had sqaure felloe wheels (late '17- early '18 and on) and they looked like they could be original to the car.

Frontier Auto Museum

While traveling through Wyoming on I-90, I happened on the Frontier Auto Museum in Gillette. Incredible Museum, family-owned, open only 4 years, the owner was working on the floor, very friendly and willing stop to talk. Amazing collection. A must stop if you are in the area. Check out their website...

Re: Seen in Yellowstone?

I was in Yellowstone last week and also spotted the T. I was waiting to see if the owner might post a photo, but it appears he or she may not be on the forum, so here you go. The car looked well traveled and had stickers from tours all over the country.

Been working on finishing my 1916 Pickup project.Hopefully will be driving soon. Need to get the rear fenders on, glass in the windshield, windshield support rods fitted, fit all the lamps and do some wiring. What a terrific little pickup. You have a great sense of proportion and detail. Well done!

Re: Another One is Back on the Road

Norman, those are period accessory steel spoked wheels made by Atlas Wheel Company. They are also commonly referred to as PG&E Wheels.
I am hoping to have this car on the national tour in Spokane next year.

Another One is Back on the Road

He got it running, but sometime afterwards decided that a touring would be more suitable for his future growing family and decided to sell it. I thought we could give it a quick budget r...

Re: Auburn, CA Swap June 7--if it happens, no pie?

David, we have never met, but you probably know who I am as I have been directing buyers and sellers at the MLMTFC Swap Meet entrance for the last 30 years. Please introduce yourself as I will have a monumental size piece of apple pie for you next to me in my cooler. Let me know if you prefer someth...

Re: Auburn, CA Swap June 7--if it happens, no pie?

David Dewey, As a 30 year member of the Mother Lode Model T Ford Club who has worked hard at every swap meet, I want to say I am personally extremely embarrassed by Phil Lawrence's rant. He is speaking for himself and definitely not me or the other members of the MLMTFC as far as I know. David, I ap...

Re: Almost done with the 1920 touring

Beautiful car Randy and the Macbeth lenses look great also. My Western Auto Supply catalogs advertise those accessory lenses from at least 1921 though 1924. Regarding the Ford factory green-visored lenses, page 320 of Bruce McCalley’s Encyclopedia says those lenses were used from late 1920 into earl...
