I have an engine knock on my 22T- so I pulled each plug wires individually and seems like its coming from No. 1. So, I pulled the pan and I'm using plastigague to check the clearance. First pass came with no deformation at all, so I know the gap is greater than 0.003 in.

The Ghost has a pair of holes drilled into the metal trim piece just below the windshield, 3 3/4 apart and approximately 5/16 in diameter on the right hand side of the car.

Today I decided the clean up the rear outer wheel bearing and fit new seals on my 27 Coupe.

Left hand side leaks a bit but the right side doesn't so I tackled the right side first.

I have a set of Neoprene inner seals on hand so I pulled the hub off and dug in.

Once I got the sleeve out I discovered there seemed to be no inner neoprene or felt...

Here is an original T era Bevin polished brass Bermuda bell. Heavy thick brass. It has a nice polish, no dents or cracks, just a few small nicks here and there from actual road use under a T. It works great, very, very loud DING DONG! when plunger is depressed. Holds the fading tone after ringing, something only original bells can do. Very clean....

I'm a little ways into the delayed rebuild of the motor for my '23 touring car. I wanted to use the same crankshaft (it's still standard, incredibly), but my machinist just called to tell me that it failed the magnaflux test. Uh-oh.

What year did Ford stop using the forged end carburetor rods? I know they had them through 1914?, but how late after that?

I just picked up another car. The car is pretty nice but the tires are the worst that I have ever seen and I just need something that I can stick on it with some tubes so that it will be easier to move around until I am able to get it running. I found this in my transmission screen. I am assuming I am going to have to

What gear did it come from?

I used to go to this meet when it was operated by another organization. That was over 10 years ago. Has anyone gone in recent years?
If so, is it worth it for T stuff. Pictures suggest mainly 50's on.

I'm thinking of going but don't want to waste my time if there is very little T stuff.

Where are the national tours going to be for both the MTFCA and MTFCI in 2025?

Today I got ambitious and drove my 3 cars into the RV parking lot so I could photograph them together. They show advances from 1916 to 1936 to 2007. The Packard is quite a bit larger than the Model T or the Mercedes Benz SL 550. They are also quite different from each other to drive.
Even with the two outside mirrors and one inside it is difficult...

Got a question on the 1911 Engine Block....are the Intake and Exhaust ports on the side of the block threaded for some sort of insert between the manifold and the block?

Also, on the 1911 Block is the oil fill a long tube running down the left side of the engine like on the 1909's?

I have a new, unfinished firewall of the 1911/1912 two piece variety. I plan to stain it using Laurel Mountain cherry stain. For those of you who have done this staining, how much stain is needed? Since front and back need staining, it seems like it would take a whole lot more than one of the 4 oz. containers that Laurel Mountain sells.

I have newly acquired 1915 Centerdoor with AC Brakes, which I know nothing about.
How do I adjust them?
