The folks who built this T Touring actual had more money in the parts, exhaust system, engine and the rest of the drive train than what this poor original T Touring was worth in its original as found condition. If you’ve got the money anything goes. I guess??

I came across picture #7 a few years back, caption states crating for overseas shipping.

I just talked to him tonight and in spite of getting sick a few weeks after Hershey he is very much alive and doing ok.

The RHD car is a Duncan and Fraser built car. Typical features are the crowned mudguards, curved cowl and brass cowl vents, one piece frameless windscreen and cast brass windscreen pillars Side lights put it at 1913-14.

What is a TW timer?

The TW timer is a recent (this century?) version of a carbon brush T timer, as seen here:

It is my understanding that they went out of production, but various folks are still making the brushes available, the brushes being the only real consumable in the timer.

Crank handles going to Ed.

The above picture of the transmission shows it is an up to 1925 block and transmission and band, not 1926-27.
It is a matched set and goes together.
The magneto ring coil could really use to be rewrapped but that will open up a barrel of snakes for you.

Serial numbers and engines got swapped around as these vehicles passed through their service...

If you have one, a lost wax casting may be the answer.

Forget the short straight edge. A taut string line will give a better over-all indication of any sag in the frame. Takes only a few minutes to do, and can be quite revealing! There is no better time to make corrections than when the frame is bare.

I did it- I posted two pictures of the Bennett brake parts I need. Only took all afternoon to figure it out!

Allan is correct although the photo doesn't show it very well. The felloe on the left is loose lug but when I bought the car there was a fixed-lug rim mounted to the wheel. No two wheels were alike on my car when I bought it so I've spent some time acquiring felloes that match. Even so, I have a pair of Hayes on the front and Ford's on the back....

Snyder's does BUT you have to purchase the complete sediment bulb !

Strange.Never saw that before. How about a photo of the front and back of your cap....I'm curious if you have an original or a repop. If the latter, there are good ones and bad ones and it is important to know the difference.

That wishbone that takes normal nuts is the very first version of under-the-axle-wishbone . If you own a '22 then it migrated there from an earlier car some time in the past.

Thanks Scott! That's the answer I was looking for. I already have a tapered wishbone on and I will save this and not modify it.

What makes you think it is a 22?...

Chris, I am wondering if the difference between your '24 and '26 on the spring cup clearance is from the different width brake drum and push ring?

Well, I'll confirm your suspicions about white lithium.
When I tore down my TT in the 80's I had to store machined parts until I had the money to restore. That was one of the recommendations then, greased up and wrapped in oil cloth.
Only to discover later the onset of serious rust after only about 4 years. And that was in arid Calif.

many years ago at a farm auction i saw a T motor with a Dodge Brothers starter generator jury rigged on to the front cover using the DB sprockets and a crude assembly of angle iron and flat plate ... possibly any DC motor might be adapted for this purpose and also double as a generator ...Gene French

It looks like a casted oil pan and my guess is there is some sort of oil pump that runs off the cam. If you look closely there is a little oil sight glass.
