I bought a cordless Makita high quality, HIGH pressure tire inflator at least 5 years ago.
It will easily inflate a model T tire to 65 psi, no problem at all. I recently took my 1922 coupe out for an afternoon drive, on a nice warm day in Mississippi. Before I hit the road, I used it to inflate all FIVE tires, from 40 lbs to 65 psi and it did them...

It is not libel if it is true, and warnings against scam phone numbers are posted all over the internet...it most certainly is not libel. Thanks to the Defense Department divulging my every aspect of my being, 11 years ago, I get scam #'s more than periodically, and most of the time I can find that number on the internet being listed as one scam...

Here's where the three R's come into play... Replace, Replace, Replace ! :lol:

Model T switch tumblers were made from pot metal that often swells and gives problems after the last 100 years.
Add a bit of rust on the steel parts and it gets stiff.
Careful lubrication and working it can sometimes bring it back around, be careful not to break it.

If the tumbler does need replacing it is not a quick / easy job but possible.

All my srater equippef T's run on 6 volt standard systems.
It helps that my son works in the solar power industry and he makes my battery leads, probably a bit on the overkill side.
The biggest problem is purchasing 6 volt, 18 watt festoon bulbs for the indicator lamps I use! I think I now have another lifetime supply in my stash.

You can see how there is a gap (blue) of @ .057 to .058 between the front face of the lug and the inner drum wall. Enough room to completely jam up a .040 to .042 thick loose clutch disk that would work its way off the back of...

You need to measure all 4 cylinders for taper, and I'd check the valve guides for wear. If it's NOS, you need to know it.

Heart of Iowa met in Grinnel for lunch then most went on to view the art museum. Nice day for a drive in the coupe. Mid Feb feels like April 1 here.

Rebuilt the $10 headlights and gave them a lick of paint.

Just like last year, the swap meet organizers have arranged for free camping just steps away from the main gate. And, this year I hear they are providing a porta potty outside the main gate too. Thumbs up!

Mike makes perfect sense. There is no need for the dog chasing tail scenario of modification fix a previous modification and then having to repeat same over again. The stuff to do what has been done in the video is all available. There is no need to re-invent the wheel at every step.

I had to temporarily swap a 26 engine in my 23 touring when I wrecked a rod a week before a tour. I had to custom make the floorboards to fit the 23 floor and 26 pedals.

How about 1,100.00 for the three?

That would be quite the cacophony on one vehicle!

When I think about the remains of T’s from 09-13 that were scrapped during that period of time it makes me cringe. But that’s what happened to early V8’s too.

Looks like a Rootlieb kit to me. Speedsters are worth 7-12K for the most part. Use that as a start to determine value.

On this one, wheels add to value, as does the Ruckstel. Looks like a real nice paint job. Cannot see much else.

In the pre-war section, are the spots large enough to set up display and park your truck. I won’t have a trailer but will have few things that are heavy and would like to display off the back of truck.
