I have just a single stamped steel door key for my 24 coupe.

Are these keys numbered and available like ignition keys?

Rather than send the question directly to Russ, I'll post it here in case others are interested too. After working on the head and checking whether it works with a reverse drill, I reinstalled it in the car and tried it out today when I drove to town for groceries. It works, but reads low. With GPS showing 32 mph the speedometer shows about 20....

This appears to be a Model T key, but doesn't have the center hub . Examining with a magnifying glass reveals no evidence of a rivet being ground down. Any ideas?

This is a quite early 1928 Model A roadster; motor number of A20XXX making it a February 1928 manufacture car which would be termed by most to be an “AR.” It is a presentable and drivable early Model A. Ford only used this coil box for one year. They used mica pieces below the common grounding strip on the bottom to insulate the ground from the mag and battery wires. These mica pieces appear to be about 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 square, and about .030 thick. Does anyone know if mica is available like that?

I know they make kits but kind of wondering if I can get the internals and then do the machine work myself.
