Wanted; Early brass steering wheel or spider!

…or more appropriately: whats the Best way to remove this Model T rear axle gear ?… best way to remove 2 little
half moon keepers ? Then; assuming don’t use oxyacetylene, simply press gear off with my 30 Ton press ? Thank you in advance gh

I have a Nash setup on my car. Works ok but the speed registers low. Suspect I have the wrong gears in it. Does anybody have setup information or spare parts on these?

Would someone happen to have an early water inlet connection original or reproduction? This is the one with a heavier boss for the bolt holes used 1909 to 1912 supposedly. I was given the name Eric Vandenbeemt as one who reproduces them, but I am unable to locate a contact for him.

….Can’t call them a “set” because Jno Brown 110 on left has a Steel chimney top. Right lamp is brass chimney top. I’d buy a mate for the steel top lamp. Wonder why Brown offered the steel top ? 1914 TT ? :lol:

How should the bolt flat contacts be in relationship to the crossbar when the switch is activated?..., Should the rounded flat contacts or the 9/16 inch square flats be in the line with the crossbar??

Helping a guy that has a 1912 put together car with a lot of incorrect parts.
Ran out of threads on the tie rod and still have too much toe in, over 1/2 . The tie rod is 46-3/4 which from what I can find is correct.

First time wheel rebuilding. They're Hayes wheels, bought Hayes spokes. First problem was the tenon was slightly too big to press into the fellow. Turned one set down, as an experiment (before doing all 48). Got them pressed in.

On the California Rendezvous tour last week, my 1913 touring turned over 56,000 miles. It still has the original engine. I've owned this car since 1961, and finished restoring it in 1963. Can anyone top that?

a couple years ago I asked if anyone had been in the situation of only being able to go in reverse, no forward low or high. no one ever had that problem. I didn't want to tear the engine apart, so it sat on the back burner for a bit. I wondered if the pinion gear could be spinning loose going forward and tightening up in reverse, I took the rear...

I am new to the Model T community but not to early cars. I am in the process of reassembling my 1912 engine and looking for tips on reassembly for such info as torques, avoiding oil leaks etc. I can't find such info in the club restoration videos or the club utube channel. Am I missing something? I do have the black book which is helpful....

I’d like to put something out there that never really seems to get mentioned about the Prus head. Of course the power difference it offers is a noticeable improvement on our cars, but the one aspect that seems to be overlooked is what that additional compression does for the engine’s retarding ability on long downgrades.

I have what I thought were two early front Model T wheels.
But there is a difference. One on the right is standard 30x3 and the one on the left is smaller outside dimensions. 2 inches smaller on the rim diameter. Both are wood fellow w / oval spokes. What is the smaller one? IMG_1800.jpeg

I have a '26 touring where the steering wheel has a good two-inches of play. All connections from the pitman down are good. I suspect the play is in the steering box.

Assuming my suspicions are correct, can the problem be solved by replacing the pins, gears, and pinion?

Also, can this work be accomplished with the steering column...

picture number one illustrates that the two studs hoilding the cover are alined with the control knob. This is the way all seem to be. picture number two is the timer I bought last month. the two studs holding the cover are off set from the knob by 90 degrees.
