For durability I would use leather. I did upholstery on collector cars for 30 years, or so. Vinyl looks good when new but does not hold up as well as leather does, and does not feel as good on hot or cold days. The extra cost should be quite small but the quality difference will be large.

I recommend this procedure at the end of the day or for long term shut down, such as over the winter season. It appears to be the long term pressure from the carb. float pushing up on the viton needle tip, that seems to make the needle stick in the shut position.

Everything I've seen supports blue fenders and splash guard up to 1912, black afterwards. There is a chance the running board itself was black on the earlier cars, based on color illustrations in the Ford Times. Haven't checked an original condition car for that detail though.

It’s very easy to just add material to a bracket and build it up and shape it. I had 3 brackets for a 12 that were a matched set but was missing one. I looked and looked and eventually just got a bracket that was a 14-15 era and added material to match it to the others.

Never said it was one of yours, just a modification so someone won’t have to purchase one separately later if they wish. Not selling them separately. I should have said cut in voltage was about 6.2 volts. The cut out resulted at about 5.7 volts.

Unless you have an early Canadian car, headlights for 1915 do not use separate forks. The bucket and mount are all one part. The focus screw is above the socket. The lens is clear, not fluted.

Use a different ammeter with an ammeter adapter.

The cast iron shoes onto steel drums back in the day were alright as a parking brake. But at today's speeds on today's roads and traffic, one should NOT at all count on cast iron only shoes onto steel drums! Too much likelihood that you will need to use that brake in a panic stop and they won't do that very many times before they become useless....

One of my t's has wooden bands and I only get to drive it once a year. Never had trouble with them sitting, by the time you get the car started and ready to go they're well oiled.

The T armature was another T part that was copied like so many other parts were. Did the company mentioned do any starter amateurs? If not them probably someone did. Rewinding armatures wasn’t exactly making a reproduction but probably fall under rebuilt like rebuilders do today for water pumps, short blocks and etc but I’m guessing. Ford started...

I did not see those minor groves, but I did see them with a magnifying glass, after they were pointed out to me.

I have seen a lot big gouges like that and they were caused by a shorted coil putting the 2,500 volts on the 6 Volt power line.
