A full set of the proper Hub bolts is only 39.95 at Langs. No reason to go to the hardware store.

Only one of the four spaces around that Dodge Motor Home had been set up and that guy said he only had his taillights do a melt down.

Other problems may not have been discovered yet.

Neither one will fit '26-27 fender brackets. Those later Model Ts have a completely different method of mounting the fender to the frame and the headlights mount to the fenders.

What does the breaker plate look like. Does it have points, condenser or a rotor? I assume not distributor cap. Do you have the gear that goes on the end of the cam shaft?

When I built my huckster, I put a wall between the cab and back which is what I think that it is. Agree about the tire, too small for a TT rear tire. Going with huckster on car frame.

I would like to see the drawing of the first Ford jack, the screw type with built in handle, just to see the date. That would give us an idea of when it was first supplied with the car. I’m asking, not advising. If the engine is locked, such as a broken crankshaft, could you add a gallon or more oil to submerge the transmission and tow in neutral?

The word I heard was Viet Nam was the only place available/willing to make beaded edge tyres. The carcases on the existing rubbish tyres were OK. It was the inconsistent wear/ cracking of the rubber components that let them down, literally.

The slight oversize rings could be used in a cylinder that was good enough to hand-hone in the field to take out light scoring or other minor defects, provided taper and out of round were within reason. Put a straight thru resonator on once, these are short length, and both ends were 1.5 so no adapters needed.

Gave a nice low note, sounded hearty, with the tip down, on pavement you could hear the bounce sound, and on dirt roads would kick up dust from the turn down pipe!

For the aluminum style with the brass plug, I use SAE 90 OR 140. It's a good idea to check them once in a while, because they can run dry over a period of time.

Did Ford ever produce a one piece fan? Most I have seen are two pieces spot welded together where they cross. These can still crack, evidenced by the introduction of pressed in ribs in the centre of the later ones.

I'll help get this to the top for the seller by saying I can't believe it hasn't sold at this price now after 2 months! The wheels alone are worth $5K! Given all its got on it the asking price is a deal! I sold a totally stock yet pristine '15 around 8 years ago for $26K. $17K for this caliber of car is just plain.....you get my point.

As to wax seals, that's all there is to it, melt a pot of wax and just pour into the filled jars.
We only waxed jams/jellies though...don't ask me why though...
Wax had many uses. Funny how such commonly used products fell out of use/availability.
