I have both and on paper the A wins hands down.....it's faster, holds the road better, bigger etc. etc. That said I find much more joy in driving my Model T. For me I think it's the simplicity, history, and the fun to drive 2 speed. Do not get me wrong I love my A as well but if I could only keep one the T would be the keeper.

Now that my car has some new tires I plan on taking her out a but more. Work is only 12 miles away so I see that happening often in 2023 but I would like to plan on some longer trips than 24 miles round trip. I am sure many of you have great stories and I would love to hear about them.

Just curious what the advantages/disadvantages to the two types of OF carbs, one with fuel inlet at the top and one with it at the bottom? I know the top fill was the older style.

Here’s a few pics of a 13 Speedster at the Savoy Auto Museum. I’ve seen the Rajo head a few times. Has anyone run a T with a Rajo head? What kind of performance differences are associated once one is installed? Curious about the specs of the impact it has.

I bought this rim at a swap meet for my Model T shortly after getting into the hobby. I thought it was a T headlight rim until noticing differences with a T rim. This one has a 9-1/8 diameter rather than the 9 diameter on a T headlight rim. There are also 4 steel pads on the outside of the rim, equally spaced. Does anyone know what this is used on?

I need 2 rear spring perches for my 1927 Touring.
I can't find mine after rebuilding the rear axle, I'm sure they will pop up as soon as buy some replacements.

Can anyone shed some light on whether to use the original one I have or switch over to a solid state one.
A description of the original one could result in generator failure and the solid state ones sound like they
are more reliable. I found them on Snyders web site and the cost is a lot less that replacing a generator

The two different sized crankshaft pulleys are listed for 1920, one at the end and one at the beginning of years they fit.

I used the larger size pulley that should make the fan turn slightly faster!!

This post is only for dye hard T guys. I've been searching for years for original 9/16 upholstery nails, and have not been successful. They only used these on the end of the binding on early cars possibly until they started using hidem welt. I was using 7/16 until recently. The rest of them are 3/8 .

I have just stripped down the axle on my 1916 tourer. I notice that the half shafts with the half shaft gears attached rock up and down against the spider gears. I'm assuming this shouldn't happen - any idea of possible cause?

I would like to add a panel under the seat of my 22 runabout pickup. This car appears to have been rebuilt by someone made some things up as the went along. The body framing under the seat looks odd to me. I want to make a pan we to go under the seat to give some support to the seat springs but I want to know what the framing should look like...

It looks useful, but did it actually work? I would think NOT to use this when the engine is running as the little ball would be a blur to see I guess.

Has any one done a speedster front suspension using a 2 drop front axle, with the early style perches, a double wishbone (above and below the axle) mounted to the engine pan (not on the outside of the frame) , reverse eye spring and 26-27 spindles? If so, how did you set-up the tie rod and drag link?

Family home movies. (Not mine) 1929 Franklin, Lincoln Highway road scenes, small towns, landmarks, steam trains, motor court cabins. If you have some time on a cold winters day it's a good window into what auto travel was like for one family in 1929-30.
