Over the years I think I've probably tried all the available radiator flushes. Even CLR, but now the instructions on CLR say not for cooling systems. What is the best one for a Model T?

I'm about to venture into my first T Transmission and after watching a few videos I don't think I have the appropriate puller for removing the Clutch Basket if it is stuck on.

These photos were sent to me by a relative asking if I knew what the heck it was. I said I’d ask here. It looks like it converts a non demountable to a demountable rim. We were speculating that it might be used for a quick change for a flat but that’s just a wild guess. Anyone got any info on it?

I used to go to this meet when it was operated by another organization. That was over 10 years ago. Has anyone gone in recent years?
If so, is it worth it for T stuff. Pictures suggest mainly 50's on.

I'm thinking of going but don't want to waste my time if there is very little T stuff.

Got a question on the 1911 Engine Block....are the Intake and Exhaust ports on the side of the block threaded for some sort of insert between the manifold and the block?

Also, on the 1911 Block is the oil fill a long tube running down the left side of the engine like on the 1909's?

If you have a Ford manufactured prior to 1916, be sure to use a jamb nut for the adjustable ends. I just ran across one from one of my cars, where the throttle adjustment is barely holding on.

I have a project in mind that could use one of these. Has anyone got a spare to sell?

I have a new, unfinished firewall of the 1911/1912 two piece variety. I plan to stain it using Laurel Mountain cherry stain. For those of you who have done this staining, how much stain is needed? Since front and back need staining, it seems like it would take a whole lot more than one of the 4 oz. containers that Laurel Mountain sells.

Use this as a lesson how to terminate an ad WITHOUT BUMPING EVERYONE ELSE'S STUFF DOWN THE LIST.

This photo has appeared on ebay, it shows women and men working on Model T's at what appears to be an emergency assembly line during or after the first world war.
Any one have an idea as to what is the story beind this? Possibly Model T Ford ambulances being rescued for reuse, what country might the soldiers be from?

I have recently acquired the tools and machinery to pour and size babbit, I am not professing to be an expert by any means.
However I have made some observations, it seems that the older engines I have disassembled which appear to have OEM Babbitt. I only “assume” these to be OEM, for example they would typically have cast iron pistons....

My car has mirrors mounted to the upper door hinges. They seem useless, I can barely focus them and they dont keep the setting after a few miles due to vibration. Are they a silly add-on or would they be more effective mounted on the center hinge posts? If I want to remove them would I just replace with a standard pin?

The title is a bit of a misnomer since it was 3 days. We met in Virginia City, Nevada. We traveled to Carson City for a day, Reno to the National Auto Museum then a day of trains and the historic town. 11 cars and 24 people had a great time.

It’s a 27 T wrecker so says the Facebook page. It looks like it’s all there and is worth restoring. Maybe some you TT Truck folks know where this is or know about it. It’s been sitting in the weather for a good while but amazingly it seems to be mostly all there.

The Ghost came with a repro carburetor pull rod that turns out to be a tad short, resulting in an overly frisky car.

The repro rod is 13 3/8 long, while Ford parts lists part 3535 as 13 13/16 to early 1915, and 14 5/16 from August 1915 on, with the adjusting end, part 3538, was dropped by early 1916 in favor if a one piece.

Spartonet (model F) hand operated horn. The horn does work and appears to be complete; however, the knob / push assembly is quite loose. As a result, the push assembly will often not return to the fully extended position and requires a slight jiggle. Asking $30 plus shipping or can pick up in Burbank, CA.

Yep...2 days ago that day tour, today it was our club member Doug Galloway again hosting a fly-n-drive in good time at his rural airport. He has several Ts and flies. I just have T's! :lol:

It had over 40 places this year plus 6 model Ts & our Prez's '40 coupe. I gave 6 or 7 rides to various bunches of people in my '13 touring, of all ages, lots...

Just finished our fall tour. We did a big loop from Red Lodge MT to Cody WY and back to Red Lodge over the Bear Tooth Hwy. We stayed a day in Cody to visit the Buffalo Bill Museum. Great country for a Model T drive.
