I am new to the Model T community but not to early cars. I am in the process of reassembling my 1912 engine and looking for tips on reassembly for such info as torques, avoiding oil leaks etc. I can't find such info in the club restoration videos or the club utube channel. Am I missing something? I do have the black book which is helpful....

Hotrod front spring perches. The consensus is these are used to put a Model A front axle under a T front spring and frame. They appear to be forgings and NOS as the threads are covered in wax. I finally took George Akins advice and pressured my fuel tank using the exhaust on my 1924 Depot Hack. For years I have had trouble climbing hills unless my tank was completely topped off.

To the neigh sayers, there is no risk of explosion. Any oxygen in the tank is displaced by carbon monoxide. There is an aticle in the MTFCA Carburetor book...

1) reverse the battery cables
2) polarize the generator by briefly touching B+ to the field terminal

I'm going to take a shot at this. I've attached a scan of a 1926 Michelin tire price chart that I found stuck between pages in ledger from my great-grandfather's store. Hopefully you will be able to download it and print a copy if you wish. It makes a nice wall hanger for the shop. Enjoy !

Does a muratic acid and water solution for rust removal eat away at brass or bronze fittings or bushings?
I know that a sodium bicarbonate solutions and a battery charger eats away at brass fittings.
