I am getting close to completing a set of five Pasco 60 spoke wire wheels and I'm looking for the drive pins, or maybe they are called pin drives. I need 30 of them for the five wheels. I noticed today that I have some clicking from one of the wood wheels on the 22. Some investigation showed loose spokes on two wheels. My wheels have the metal rings not wood felloes so spoke replacement is not a gargantuan task and I wanted to touch up the paint on the wheels anyway.

After making all the base line jet adjustments per the book, I swapped out a good running U&J for this freshly rebuilt Winfield S-AA-U, tied the throttle closed, pulled the choke, and pushed the starter button. To my amazement, it near instantaneously popped off and sat there idling at a smooth slow idle! Creepy!

I futzed with the idle...

Here are 2 ea. Winfield S/SR-AA to 2.375” bolt spacing 2 bolt flange (Model A) carb adapters. I make these new for the Model A guys, but found that this adapter was perfect for swapping out the U&J on my touring car (see pic below).

Anyone price Babbitt late? I just looked at my supplier for Ford mix. $200 for 7 lb block. They use to offer a discount online for large orders, not anymore. Have to call to see if they do.

The family's 1922 Coupe turned 100 in June. I rebuilt the generator and it is working fine. 7 to 10 amp charge at road speed.

However, The car has now developed an issue with an oil leak. The car has always left a trail of small drops, but now, on start up, major leak by the starter.

I read that leaks at the starter was in the original design...

I plan to drive my 1912 T in our 4th parade---it has 30X3.5 clinchers but I`m concerned about possible flattires.....Just wondering if I could replace a flat with a wheel and tire from my 1924 T. This is not my favorite task. I have beaten these out with a long chisel and hammer in the past to remove the ball bearing style, but thought I'd ask for suggestions now. Maybe a little heat on the race or the hub might help? Thanks.

Today I picked up my engine after a transmission rebuild. As proof of life the rebuilder set it up on a Dyno and ran it for me, first with a Holley NH, then with my Holley G. I have a NH at home in a box that I've never gotten around to installing on the engine. Based upon the results, I think I will now :D

A friend says his Model T never had a Hot Air Pipe, Part Number 4582, so he knows it must not need one.

My opinion is that Henry Ford would never put that part on, if it was not required.

There are usually three different opinions about every part of a Model T, am I wrong on the pipe requirement?

I am working on solving a rough running issue, which means a lot of test drives around the block. This involves backing out of the shop, which is not going well. My technique is to start with the hand brake on then press the reverse pedal down and let the handbrake off. Oddly, the car will go backward when the handbrake is about halfway off, but...

Thanks to the forum I found that Tom VanMeeteren is able to supply cap, rotor and points for my AK type RA distributor. UPDATE

I finally found some at Target - $1.29 per gallon.
I use it primarily to mix 50/50 with antifreeze for the T
I also picked up another shortage item - Siracha.
Due to a bad crop of chili peppers this year, it is in short supply.
Most retailers are out of it.
Target is becoming my new go-to over Walmart.
