Since joining mtfca, I have seen many questions regarding wood around the interior windows of the 1926-‘27 coupe. In all that time I never responded to the question because, in the 52 years since I last saw under the upholstery, I forgot whether I had wood or not even though I do not recall ever installing wood in the interior of my 1926 coupe....

- Had the original radiator re-cored with a new Brassworks
core.
- rebuilt coils by (RIP) Rv Anderson.
- Have original carb and new rebuilt Holley nh
- commutator cleaned and new wiring.
- pulled the jugs...

Today was the first time putting the top up on the 26 Touring.
I was able to get the top up but it doesn’t look right to me.
The side brackets are hanging down below the bottom edge of the fabric. Plus the edges of the fabric seem to be loose?
I’m hopping the attached pictures will explain better .

Wayne is having trouble finding anyone that will cut & install early ford windshields for his 12 & 14 T's. Everyone he has been sent to is either out of business or no longer provides the service for flat glass. Does anyone know of someone in the Austin Texas area that will do these.

I need to replace the bushing at the front of the oil pan that the starting crank goes through. What is the best and easiest way to remove the old bushing? The bushing is probably frozen into the pan.

Does anyone use Seafoam in their T or TT? We use it in our 1925 Touring and 1923 TT Firetruck. What do you all think of Seafoam for a T? We use it on each tank.

I have a good sized collection of original Ford T literature, and have heard for many years, the Ford actually had a listing of Ruckstell parts in his late parts book. I finally saw an example of one of these on the Ford fix website. It is a fake to be sure, probably botched together by Polyprints back in the sixties. They even misspelled AXLE!...

the car has been sitting for 12 years in a climate controlled shop since driven not touched. no mice put in new battery negative ground. the amp gauge shows discharge when running but when shut off turn on lights shows charge

I have a T1201 c rear, and a T1202 b, front. As confusing as it can be, going thru the encyclopedia, I still can't come up with a year. I'm in the 12-13 era. I am painting my 1912 commercial roadster dark blue with black fenders. Were the open door sill moldings painted blue or black? What about the hood former, the hood shelves and rear sear riser molding that curves up from the floorboard to the top of the platform the rear seat sits on. The car won't be pin striped.

I'm looking for a set of nos 1919-27 front axle spring perches and a set of nos 25 and earlier spindles.

Have been to the 'Pantheon' in Basel / Switzerland yesterday.
In a special exhibition between others there were a 1904 De Dion Bouton and a 1906 Ford Model N standing side by side.
Interesting to me to recognize the differences between old and new world cars in that case.

1922-23 Model T Touring, titled as a 1926 (the engine is a wide band 1926, engine number 12521890, October 1925)

A little over three years ago I bought this from the estate of a man who built and owned many, many Model T’s, but this was the only one he kept for himself.

It starts, runs and drives very well and I have enjoyed many hours toddling...

In the Canadian province of British Columbia in 1922 they switched from driving on the left to driving on the right.
Curiously While I have seen/found RHD hogsheads in both aluminum and cast iron, I have not seen one with a starter.
Perhaps ford switched to selling LHD cars there in 1919 anyway!

Yesterday, we delivered my 1927 coupe to the paint shop. I will send photos as the prep and painting proceeds.

When the Stromberg OF was sold to mount in a Model T, it came with a choke control that mounted on the steering column. When you started the car with the starter on a cold day, you simply put it to Choke (full on ) and once the car started, you immediately moved the control to rich/run which opened the choke plate from full closed to only...

These are from a very nice solid pair of 21” wheels. They were very nice and tight and also very tight into the steel felloe. That original 100 year old hickory grain is hard to match. Spokes are all marked in order that they came out of the rim. Scrape them down and assemble two wheels at a nice savings. $56 includes delivery to your mail box....

Has anyone had any experience with the reproduction visor frames? I am having a hard time tracking down an original and an original that isn't all rusted out.

Reproduction wide one piece pan and hogs head. Sold as a pair. Come with a set of pedals. I can ship it on your dime or pick up in northern NJ or delivery to Hershey in the fall.

Look up CP4 Pump failure.
Seems these pumps will fail and trash out the fuel system. Everything has to be replaced. Lines, injectors filter housing and even tank.
Ford dealer I had mine at yesterday had two in there. Jobs were 14000 each.

Does anyone know where I can get a face cutter like the one used with the spindle bushing thrust cutting tool sold by the vendors? I'm looking for one to build a set up for cleaning up the thrust surfaces on the axle yoke.
