Noting the louvered hood on Rob's new Model B, I took a look at all the Ford models. B, C, E, and F had louvers. K, N, R, S and T (for the first six years) didn't. I'm not trying to make any point, just observing an interesting detail.

I’m checking my TW timer position against the initial spark when on Batt.

A forum search advises first spark should occur 15 deg ATDC, and that TDC occurs when the crank pin position is horizontal. Fair enough.

Bought this LF off of eBay. Cleaned it up inside and out. Very little wear on any of the parts. Went to install it today and realized that the flange bolts threads are small then manifold holes and course thread. Spacing is correct. Is this the correct LF for a T, or did I not do my homework before I bought?

The engine & transmission are mounted in the frame, connected to the drive shaft and the radius rod.
From my reading, this is my best guess of the correct order to put it back together:

This is one of the most difficult KR Wilson Model T tools to find.

In my opinion, it is one of most desirable KR Wilson to own. It holds all of the components of the KRW combination machine (except for the machine itself), and has slots for all of the KRW transmission jig reamers. In addition it has hangers for almost all of the Ford Z tools....

I am restoring my fathers 1927 Model T. I have done the work to the engine, frame, rear end, etc. The issue I have is the body. I am not an auto body person. I have been calling around trying to get someone to do the body work. Collision shops are not interested and if I go to a place with restoration in their name the price sky rockets....

Here is the plate that mounts on the top of the cylinder and the water manifold attaches for a c.1910'ish Palmer Singer. Also included are two, very heavy, machined tapered/threaded dowel pins which I believe are from the same car. Neat items for display or use.
