Steve, don't overlook that the engine has a Z head. The difference may not be as great with the standard head on a 1915 model.

Model year and date of manufacture get overly confused. Most will agree that you have a 1925 model year, which is for the most part identical to a 1924 model year. Your DMV on the other hand wants some simple way to identify the year for title and registration. The simple identification is the engine serial number. There are many published sources...

I was able to post the full size drawing on Face Book and I posted it the groups I usually post to too. Long Beach, Model T Ford Club of FB, Southern Nevada, Southern Utah, Model T Enthusiast, and the MTFCI Face Book group.

I've also found the T factory number and the vendor part number too. And I also found the starting points of those radii...

You are missing the rest of the bracket assembly.

That particular set-up has an additional bracket that screws into the door sill. Then, you attach the horn to the permanent bracket on the sill with a single bolt and nut or wing nut.

It's designed that way to prevent theft. It allows you to easily detach the horn and take it with you, if so...

A coil will operate without a capacitor at all for a short time, then the points will look like the photos above.

The last time I checked there didn't seem to be any points anyplace good enough for those coils.

For no more than you need, it is much cheaper to just send them to Ron or Brent, rather than gather all the tools an materials you need...

Are Optima batteries that good you ask? Yes, they pretty much are. And, as you've been told, besides the momentary load of the starter, there is very little else to drain the battery, especially when your lights are off and your magneto works. You could literally go for weeks...

In 1929 my mom, her sister, brother, and sister-in-law drove out to New Mexico and Arizona in this Chebby. In those days such a trip was a big adventure, and they talked about it the rest of their lives.

Often the trunk was an actual trunk, set on supports bolted to the frame.

That carburetor is for a Dodge Brothers.

The ignition system consists of a number of parts and assemblies. All of the parts and assemblies must be in good working order for the system to work properly and consistently deliver a good spark to each cylinder at the proper time, every time. The ignition system is somewhat like a chain. It will only function as well as the weakest link.
