finally starting my engine project i am taking my ee crank to be ground. the shop says they will do it however i want it. i have checked the crank it is straight and measures within .005 of stock. i am going to tell them just clean it up no more than needed and radius the corners .125 i am also goin...

rods are good i put a set of rings in it. i also put new valves springs and lifters. i dont see any thing obvious magnets look good
nothing loose that i can see. must be either mains or the 4th main. philip

Long story so I will be brief. My 24 touring car has had a vibration since I got it. I have new rings new valves new lifters rebuilt rear end. Coils are set on eccta Anderson timer x plugs. could some that has one of the coil cushion spring adjustment tools measure the slot width on each end.
i think one end fits older coils and the other fits repops. thanks philip

you can get by with a n adjustable wrench and some channel locks. at some point order you a hub wrench it fits the hub cap and the bearing nut. philip

Here are some pics of my hcct. It was given to
Me in pieces by a fellow club member who
Scored a factory made one. I redid some of the
Frame and re wound 3 of the coils using masking
Tape. It is made by the plans that are on the
Board. It works great now I need a meter.

I am building a hand crank coil tester. I have 2 coil rings both check out good
Using a battery charger and hacksaw blade as well as a compass. Magnets are

my 24 touring has 4 mid 50s kw coils. i took it out for a spin and had a sudden skip. i found that it ran better on the 6v battery and got home. switched back to mag. and found that no 4 was not firing switched the coils around and the problem moved so it is a coil problem. i did the light bulb volt...

i used a dc welder to recharge mine and it worked perfect. do a search and you will find instructions on how to set the welders
polarity this is super important read until you understand it before you bump the mag. all you are doing is using the stater coils
as magnet chargers. philip

the fire power hooks to the oxy acl. torch and uses a powder i use the soft powder you can fill 1\2 inch gaps once you get the
