Re: What are these holes in the cylinder wall of a Ford Special motor?

Hmmmm, a compression release could be a logical explanation. I have had 4 stroke motorcycles with large bores, high compression and no electric start. You simply could not kick start one of these without the compression release. That said it would need to seal completely or you would have compressio...

No offense intended. I felt that I may been assisting with the original add by adding all the pictures. I felt that the original add asking price was reasonable. I agree with the premise of not hijacking another members thread. Had I listed my Hudco for less then I certainly could be legitimately ac...

Word of warning! Be very careful. I know of a fellow who got both of his front teeth traumatically removed by a Hassler spring. He said it was very abrupt and quite painful.

Update: this radiator is a round tube radiator with 5 rows of tubes. It definitely cooled the 13 touring it came with, even on hot summer days in Iowa. It has always had antifreeze in it and no leaks. Larry, I have PM’d you with my contact information. Thanks, Mike

For Sale- 1913 brass radiator

I purchased a 13 Touring a couple of years ago that had a very nice, what I believe to be late 70’s Brassworks radiator on it. The car was toured in the Michigan area up till about 1978 then stored. The radiator has no dings or cracks in the brass but is natural patina. It has the Ford placard as sh...
